OC NAIL ART & CALIFORNIANS

I told you all in a previous post about Kathleen of OC Nail Art, and that she has a booth she sets up for a "swap meet" that is in Costa Mesa, CA. If I was in California, I would be there in a heartbeat, but as it is I am all the way in Oklahoma where we don't have cool stuff like this. I just wanted to again urge you Cali ladies to get out there and check it out!

You can find Kathleen at the Orange County Marketplace this Sat. April the 25th.

I also wanted to share a comment that was left by Wixbetty from the nail blog Wixology, who has a first hand account of going to see Kathleen at the OC Marketplace.

Ladies,
If you can get to Costa Mesa for the Marketplace, I highly recommend visiting Kathleen's Nail Art booth!

She and her daughter, Emma, have a great set-up. The image plates are all hung up in perfect order on one side. I found exactly what I was looking for and then some!

Kathleen and the very helpful Emma are both willing and able to apply the designs to your nails while you are there, as well as give instruction for your own perfect application when you get home.

She has both Coraline sets, many of the popular sets, for both beginner and professional and she has all the accompaniments, like stampers, plate-holders, etc.

Kathleen also has rhinestones and every color Konad polish you could imagine, the princess bottles, and even the glitter topcoats!

As a bonus, Kathleen also sells some familiar brands of polish (China Glaze, for one example)in the most popular colors.

It looks like she will be there again this Saturday, but I recommend sending her a text or giving her a call to find out her exact location in the very large swap meet.

This way you can spend the maximum amount of time at their booth and less time wandering around looking for it! =]

I had a blast and will be returning next month, when I have birthday money!

Thanks again, Kathleen and Emma! <3

Hi Brooke! I finally ordered the Konad. I also ordered a few polishes and 2 extra plates. I had to order that cowboy plate. Can't wait to get it. Thanks for the great deal!

LUCY - Guess what, I HAD to place an order too!! I know I'm on a no-buy until May, but I figured it was close enough to May that I could get away with it, lol! I have 6 new plates headed my way!

I hope you enjoy your konad, I want to hear what you think about it, even if you just send me an email to tell me, I'm interested to know what you think!

Brooke, Lucy, and WixBetty,

You are all way too kind. I so appreciate all the kind things you've said (and so does Emma). Our entire family LOVES Konad nail art and we totally enjoy going out to the OC Marketplace on the weekends. On many weekends, our entire family rocks the booth (even my husband, who can use that nail buffer to make your nails look like GLASS) and has a good time.

We love reading your blog, Brooke and my kids LURVE your little Dinky Dog.

Thanks again, to all of you, for making OCNailArt such a fun thing for our family to do. It finances our love of nail art! Emma earned herself a PRO SALON KIT by working in my Konad Sweat Shop. Just kidding about the sweat shop - we have air conditioning! :)

Love to you all
Kathleen (who wishes she was as good as all of you, at nail art and fingernail growing)
