A RED TREE - JUST SOOOO ME!

Me and my sister decided to do a little shopping Thanksgiving. We hit up Michael's and Garden Ridge. I was going specifically for a bright red Christmas tree at Garden Ridge. I snagged THE LAST ONE, well almost the last one. I saw a dude pushing a cart with the display tree in his cart, so I guess he got the last LAST one, lol.

It's only a 4 foot tree. I needed a smaller one this year and this baby is perfect! I went for a candy and sugary sweets theme for the decorations.

That's a nail polish bottle decoration my little sister and her husband found for me, and it's RED. Perfection!

Friday, I took Little and Jordan to TGI Fridays. They had a blast, especially Little, he really wanted people to think he was drinking a real beer. . .

Looks like he's got the chugging part down pat!
(that's a bottle of root beer, not an empty beer bottle)

THANK YOU KRIS PRIMPS!!

I got a heads up over at KRIS PRIMPS that Ross had some Color Club nail polish on the cheap. So at lunch today I ran over to a local Ross and look what I found:

THE MUSIQUE COLLECTION!!

The best part, the price:

Yes, $7.99 for the whole kit and kaboodle! (Remember Caboodles???)
I snagged the last one though.

Also found this Poshe set:

I think for what I paid for this whole set would normally only get me the top coat, so a huge score on this. I have never tried the other two products that came with this, only the top coat. I am interested to see how I like the other items.

I never even thought to check at Ross for nail polish. Thanks for the heads up Kris!

OKEY DOKEY - HERRY

Okey Dokey, yes that really is the brand name of this nail polish. I don't know why, but that just cracks me up. This is a brand I found at a local dollar store (not Dollar Tree). I'm a sucker for cheap nail polish, so I picked a couple up. I bought them probably a year or so ago and never used them. So I decided to give Okey Dokey a try. Guess what?! Okey Dokey is better than just Okey Dokey, it really was a pretty good nail polish. The formula was really nice and I really liked the bright red color. The name I'm a little confused by though, Herry?? What is that? I'm wondering if they meant "Cherry" but the label got messed up. Anyone know what a "Herry" is??

WIN A BOTTLE OF SKIN MD

Hey girls. I have a giveaway for you all! I was given a bottle of Skin MD shielding lotion to try out and an extra bottle to giveaway to one of you lovely ladies.

First, lets talk about this lotion. First off it is a shielding lotion, which means what you ask. Here is what their website says it means:

Skin MD Natural is a shielding lotion,a very special type of lotion helping the skin restore its integrity, enhance its protective functions so that the skin is able to heal naturally and regain its youthful appearance. Skin MD Natural works by bonding with cells of the skin's outermost layer to form what works as an invisible shield. This layer of protection prevents environmental irritants and pollutants from penetrating the skin, while sealing in the skin's own natural oils and moisture, helping resolve the dry skin condition.

Skin MD Natural uses only the finest natural ingredients, and is focused on urging the skin to be active, and to use its own moisture to effectively heal itself. It is not oily or sticky, doesn't sit on top of your skin leaving a greasy residue on everything you touch, it doesn't rub or wash off easily, is hypoallergenic, fragrance, colorant and paraben free and dermatology tested.

It's for Moms, Dads and Kids of all ages.
It's an easy, safe and natural way to care for your skin throughout the day.
Every day.

• No animal products or testing
• Dermatology tested
• Fragrance and colorant free
• Hypoallergenic
• Paraben free
• Non-comedogenic

I was really excited about using this lotion since Little and my sister suffer from Eczema. My sister is really susceptible on her face, she has to be really careful with what she uses so that she doesn't break out. She is currently still giving it a go, so I don't have her results just yet.

You can go to Skin MD'S website and read all kinds of information about this lotion. There is a ton, too much for me to list here on this post. But for those of you that suffer from skin conditions, I highly recommend taking a look at this lotion and seeing if it is a good fit for you.

So all you have to do to win a bottle is enter in the giveaway above. You have until Next Monday to do so.

This is open to US Residents only!

Fly the friendly skies with Nixxy's Economy Class, a much better, sparkly version of My Private Jet! Private Jet, who needs it, fly in style with Nixxy's Economy Class and get with the recession!!

BLACK RADIANCE - PASSION

I have had this polish for a while, but when I looked back, my swatches were done with my old camera which equals - suck! And I wanted to do a dark color after my neon bright mani I had planned wasn't working out.

This is one of those frustrating colors that doesn't have the cool colors that you see in the bottle and it mostly looks dark, unless it is in bright sunshine. But boy when it is, is it sure pretty!

I got this from Walmart, but I have noticed that this brand isn't at all Walmarts so you will just have to check. I thought they were a little expensive for the size of polish, maybe around $3-$4 bucks. Also the brushes are uneven and it makes it very hard to apply the polish.

And matteified for those of you curious :)
