NOT YOUR MOMMA'S NAIL ART

It's not your momma's cuz it's MY momma's nail art :) I think my mom is really diggin' the Konad ladies!! She asked me if I would do her nails last night and then quickly added in that she already knew what she wanted done! She had her konad design picked out and her colors, too. She wanted a light pink for the base color and then a dark pink for the swirl pattern konad stamp. The base color I used was Sinful Colors - Shirley and Buddy (would LOVE to know the story behind that colors name btw!) which is a light, shimmery pink that has some blue glitter in it!! That color really surprised me because you cant see the blue glitter in the bottle, but it is pretty noticeable on the nails. Neither of the dark pinks I brought over were giving the color contrast that she was looking for, so I used the red Konad SP over the light pink base, which gave the appearance of dark pink swirls.

Also, when we were done and it was time for the pictures, she said - "hold on, let me go get my prop" - LMAO!! She also has her next prop picked out too, I've created a monster!

Can't see the blue glitter, can you?

Enlarge this pic to see the blue glitter I was telling you about.

Awwwww! But, shouldn't that say a daughters love since I was the one doing her nails.......oh well :)
Hey COLETTE, isn't "a mothers love" the tag you gave for posts where your mom had picked up nail polish for you?

Pretty konadicure Brooke. See whar happens when you do nice work. You have created a monster is right. Well not nice to say a monster. Maybe this will interest your Mom in learning to do this herself. Cute props.
