SUCCULENT GRAPES

Well, I told you all I was feeling artsy yesterday, so I knew I needed to get some nail art in last night. I didn't get in as much as I wanted, but after being stuck in traffic an extra 30 minutes, having to stop at the best grocery store ever (more on that later- bwhahahaha), cook dinner AND watch American Idol - I was just about plum out of time! sheeeew!

I painted the base color with China Glaze - Agent Lavender. Then I used a fauxnad plate I have that has a bunch of grapes and used the Konad SP in black to stamp with. Then I used my LA Colors Art Deco in Green Glitter and "painted" over the stems and leaves of the bunch of grapes on each finger. Then I got a piece of wax paper and put a little blob purple glitter nail polish from Hot Topic on it (you don't want to put too much, or it will dry up and get gloppy) and used a paint brush to "dot" on purple glitter grapes.

HERE IS WHAT I USED:

HERE IS THE FINISHED NAIL ART:

Don't be afraid to decorate your konad stamps! Just by adding a little bit of glitter, these have the appearance of a hand painted design. It was really quick and easy, and I was able to do this on both hands with out any problems!

Hi sweetie! Love it, love it. You are getting even better with all of your ideas. Good idea to decorate the Konad. What do the people you work with think of your nails? Thank you again for your gift. Your a great friend.

THE PBG - It was a little busy there for a little but I was bit by the nail art bug yesterday and I needed to get something done ;)

RAI - Thanks :)

LUCY - Thank you! I just got a great idea for some more embellished konad stamping after checking out Never Too Much Glitter's blog, I can't wait to get home and do that tonight :)
And there aren't many people left here at my job since they laid off several people, so I am basically in the front by myself.

No problem on the little gift, you deserve it :)

That's fantastic! I don't think I would've had the patience to pull that off. You need to go on a vineyard wine tasting tour and wear that :)

VELVET - It really didn't take much time at all, believe it or not. It looks really detailed but with out having to do all the painstaking details - if that makes any sense :)

BODY AND SOUL - Thank you, like I told Velvet, it really was pretty easy and fast. These would look great for that only I don't like wine, lol :)

This is so cute! I've been trying to do some very fine loose glitter on a wet Konad and then letting it dry, but I haven't been able to get an even finish on it. These look great- I want to nibble them!

WIXOLOGY - I'm glad to hear that! I hope you do give it a shot, it really dresses up the konad stamps I think! Thank you.

ALEXLYNDRA - Thank you.

OLIVIA C - Thanks so much :)

THE ASIAN GIRL - Thanks! First time I have used the Hot Topic.

GLITTER - Good thing my fingers aren't near you! Thanks. I thought about trying some loose glitter too, but hadn't gotten around to it.
