KONI OF THE DAY

Well, I have my daily koni for you all!! LOL, it seems as though I can't just paint my nails anymore, I have got to stamp them with something :)

HERE IS WHAT I USED:

The first thing I did was paint two coats of China Glaze - Flying Dragon over my nails. Then I used Super Star - Rising Star Razzberry and "drew" a diagonal line and painted the lower half of my nail. It took about three coats. I then topped it off with a coat of Seche. I wanted these to be really dry before I started stamping since so many coats of NP were used. I liked this design on it's own and almost (I said *almost*) didn't stamp them.

After allowing about 15 minutes or so dry time, I was ready to start stamping. I used Konad SP in black and KP # M57.

I had some tip shrinkage, but after all the coats of NP I applied, I pretty much expected it. I'm really pleased with how these turned out. I really like the purple and pink together too.

Arrgghh...trying to resist the call of the Konad but your making it hard to do! Love the two tone leopard print mani. Just wondering if the CG Flying Dragon is close to their new Summer Days color Grape Juice? Don't know if you have both colors but if you do I'm curious if they are close enough to pass on adding yet another color to my list. Thanks!

KAJSA - Thank you!

MARY - Thank you. I thought the glitter looked really cool too. And the fact that both colors had sort of the same glitter, it made them look like they were from the same collection or something.

VIOLET - You should get this plate! It is one of my most used one!

AQUARACER - Thank you so much. I think this is one of my faves too :)

AMABILE - Thank you :)

PERLA - Thank you! It really turned out pretty.

PIXIE - TY! I have no clue what blogger you speak of :)

GLITTER - Thanks! Coming from you, that means something :)

NESSA - You sound like mcdonalds! lol Thank you :)

TULI - Thank you much :)

PENNY - NO!! Those two colors are completely different! Flying Dragon is a darker shade of purple with blue/purple and pink glitter. Grape Juice is a lighter, sheerer purple and it has a glass flecked shimmer to it. I will do some comparison pics tonight for you.
