NOTD

For my NOTD I had a great idea to do a black base and then use one of my Nfu Oh holos for my koni stamp color. I envisioned the results much better than this turned out. I think it could have just been the image that I picked out, I don't know. I'm not unhappy with it, I'm just not jumping for joy over it either.

I used my fav. black polish, China Glaze - Liquid Leather and Nfu Oh #66 and Konad plate # M64.

Left blurry to try and show the holo effect.

I like it - very fancy! That would be a great manicure for a New Year's party...

I'm sorry that it disappointed you, Brooke.

It reminds me of that "life-changing" Konad that Scrangie did with similar colors, but a different image.

Maybe trying another pattern will meet your expectations?

I know how it feels- with all the work that goes into "Koni's" it's a bit of a letdown when they don't look exactly like we envisioned they would look. :(

Keep up the good work- you sure inspire me!

JAMIE - Thank you. It does kind of have a confetti look to it that would be great for new years eve!

WIXBETTY - Thank you dear! I think with a little tweaking I can get what I envisioned :) I will have to check out the Konad you referenced on Scrangies blog!

Some day I have to do my own holo Konad nails. I'm thinking of ordering some holographic nail art polishes, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.. Does the holo show?

I think it looks well, especially the holo catching the light.

Just "ok" nothin'. Giiiirl, this NOTD is smokin'. Nfu's seem to be perfect for konading. I can't believe I don't have this one. That will change in about 6 seconds after I leave this comment. HA!

LUCY - Thank you. I guess I thought the holo would have just been glowing on my nails or something, lol.

ALEXLYNDRA - Yes, it does. It shows better than I could capture with my camera.

CLOCKWORK - Thank you!

B - lol! Just yesterday I saw a light blue nfu oh on Nixxy's blog that I had never seen before, I got that on my list of wants :)

LACQUER LAINE - Thanks!

I love it! It turned out great, but I think the 'holo-ness' (is that a word?!) isn't as obvious because the color is not continuous, it's just in small areas...if that makes sense!

Wow, I love it!! I still say I love that bottle of holo polish. The bottle is so cuuute!

And the image you chose for your nails was nice.

Hi, I'm sorry it did not turn out the way you imagine it... but thank you also because I have the exact plate and when I saw this Koni I feel like doing it... not with the same polishes coz it's not available here but the principle on how you do it.

CELINE - Thanks so much :)

VANESSA - Thanks girl :)

NIXXY - LMAO!!

MARY - That totally is a word! lol I think you might be right, that might be why I wasn't as pleased with it as I thought I would be.

CHRISSY - Thanks. I know aren't those bottle just to die for? I'm surprised someone hasn't come up with an imitation bottle.

JOHANNZ - I'm glad it inspired you to do a design on your nails, that makes me happy :) Thanks for sharring
