BROWN AND GOLD KONI

Last night I did my moms nails with that gorgeous new brown Sally Hansen I picked up at Target yesterday. I didn't get the name of the polish yesterday, and I tried to look it up on SH's site and I couldn't find it. It was on clearance so it may be a discontinued color. I know it was something ____ Royal.

I'm not a huge brown fan, but I gotta tell ya, this color was absolutely gorgeous on! I hope the sun will come out today and I will try to snap a sunlight pic of this color for you guys. SH _____ Royal is a dark brown shade, but the gold shimmer it has to it is what makes this color. So pats on the back to me for nabbing it :) I used China Glaze - Passion for the stamp. We tried a couple of other gold nail polishes to stamp with and I gotta say NOTHING compares to CG - Passion for a gold stamp! I have about 4 colors from the China Glaze Romantiques line but I seriously need to get all of them, they are *the bomb* to konad stamp with!

Sorry there aren't very many pictures, my camera battery ran out on us last night!

You can see the gold shimmer better in this pic.

I talked her into getting a double stamp on the thumb. She wasn't to sure of it, what do you all think of the two stamps on the thumb?

I think that looks lovely - very chic. That brown is gorgeous as well - it's nice to see a shimmery brown rather than just a creme.

The double stamp is great - I like the way you have reversed the pattern - very clever.

Ohh I have Konad-envy!

Nice mani ! I prefer with only 1 stamp, but 2 are great too ;)

Oh that shade is gorgeous, the way the gold is so shimmery on that brown. Love it!

HELEN - Don't tell me you don't have a konad???? With your long nails though you might have to do some triple stamping though!

CELINE - Thanks. Maybe with a smaller design it would have been better with two stamps.

CLOCKWORK - It really is such a nice brown color.

I love my mani! I'm a earth tone kind of gal so I love the browns. Aren't I lucky to live across from Brooke?

Love that shade. I like the gold shimmer of the polish. I like the pattern. The pattern of the Konad sort of reminds me of a poinsettia. This would be nice for Christmas.

Brooke, I do have a Konad, I just haven't mastered it yet. My time will come!

I love the plates I have, just need a day to really get to grips with it. Your tutorial is bookmarked!
