BB COUTURE SWATCHES

I was given the chance to review three (3) BB Couture nail polishes Venice Party, Zuma Wave Rider & Balboa Beach Bunny. All three of these shades are from their Hot Fun in the Summertime Collection. All BB Couture nail products are DBP, Toulene and Formaldehyde free. BB Couture products can be found at BB Couture's website (Click HERE) or at Overall Beauty (Click HERE).

First up, lets get to the swatches and then I will give you all a little bit more info on these babies.

I used two coats of polish and no top coat. This has a little bit of a bumpy texture, but I believe that with a coat of Seche it would smooth right out.

This color is actually a tad bit lighter in real life, but I couldn't get it to capture accurately on my camera. I painted two coats and no top coat. I really, really like this color! It is a light blue with just a hint of purple or lavender to it.

This one took me by surprise. I just wasn't wowed by this color in the bottle for some reason. However as soon as I put it on, my mind was changed! This is my fave color of the three I tried. I used three coats and no top coat. I could have gotten away with just two coats, but I think the third coat added some dimension to the glitter in the polish and it made the purple just a little bit darker. I was so taken by this color I took some additional shots of this one. I really wanted you all to see the multi sized glitter in this one, so please click to enlarge the pics.

I found all of these nail polishes to apply really well and required very little clean up. I was very pleased with these nail polishes in general.

I have seen and heard of this brand before but have never purchased any for the simple fact they are a bit pricey (for my taste). BB Couture polishes will run you $8.00 from Overall Beauty and $8.95 from BB Couture direct. However that being said, they do have some really unique colors! Here are a couple I took from Overall Beauty:

(Hello Lacquer Laine, is this what you have been looking for?)

These are all greens, and what is interesting about that is that BB Couture did the unexpected: They listened to what their customers wanted! (Shocker, huh!) All you green freaks out there wanted more greens and so that's what they are giving you.
I have also heard that the Customer Service at Overall Beauty is IMPECCABLE!!! Here is what faithful commenter LUCY had to say about her order she recently placed:

BB polish is great! I have 8 bottles and their colors are fantastic. OverallBeauty.com has great customer service. I emailed them and Kim got back to me right away. I forgot to use a coupon and also saw another polish I wanted. My order went out that day, so fast that it was too late to add the polish. Kim said order the polish and she would refund my postage.
Nixxy of Nixxy's Nails also has given Kim and Overall Beauty a glowing review. Nixxy also has international shipping info and a coupon for Overall Beauty. You can click HERE to be directed to Nixxy's post.
I think for the GREAT customer service you can get at Overall Beauty, plus the unique colors of the BB Couture nail polishes - $8.00 seems worth it!

LACQUER LAINE - After reading your post you did today on Olive green, when I saw that I was like BINGO!! Thank you so much, my nails do look longer in the blue polish for some reason. Yeah! They are finally growing out.

Hi Brooke! I got my first order from OverallBeauty.com. Love the polishes. I just had to put on Iced Olive. Two coats and my nails look great. I got my order in two days! I ordered more polish, I just couldn't help it. I had to order Green Goblin and Venom plus 3 more. Kim refunded my postage today and emailed me right away. Fantastic service.
