MY BEST KONAD YET!!

I love my nails!! I am sooooo in love with this that I am thinking of making it my manicure for when I head to Las Vegas since I won't have time to do my nails while I am away.

The base I used Misa - Blue Over A Boy. When this color first arrived, I thought "I ordered THAT?", but after I put it on I see why I did get this. BOAB is such a wonderful shade of blue! I then used the Houndstooth pattern on my konad plate and I tried to use one of my regular white nail polishes and it just wouldn't pick up the color quite like the Konad Special Paint does, so I ended up using the KSP white and thought I would just have to be really careful about the streaks. The white however didn't seem to have the same smudge problems like the Black KSP does. Anyway I have gotten several compliments on these nails and I couldn't be happier with them!

So tell me what you think - is this hot or not?

OMG! Those are sooooo cute.

What exactly is Konad?
Is it like a stamp?

The link I listed will tell you all about konad and even has a demo video. But it is basically you use the design plates, you paint over the design you want to use, use the scraper and scrape off the excess nail polish, all that remains is left in the little grooves of the plate. Then you take the soft rubber stamper and push it on the plate, it will pick up all the paint left in the grooves. Then you just stamp it on your nail. It is the BEST nail art invention since airbrushing (I think). Plus they have so many plates with so many designs you can do just about anything you want. You should really check into getting one. A little starter kit is like $20 - and you can buy the plates indivually too.

That is so hot!

I lov the m63 plate. Totally amazing.

BTW I think you are right about the white polish having less of a tendency to smudge. I had to be really careful with the black one. It's like the top coat dissolves it.

PIXIE - Thanks. I had much better luck with the white. It does seem like it's the top coat that is affecting the KSP so much.

NESSA - Thanks :)

OLGA - Thank you - I'm pretty pleased with myself.

Wow is all I can say! I used to have a black and white houndstooth pattern dresswhen i was a teenager. I loved that dress and I thought I was so cute in it. I'd love to see a manicure with the black and white houndstooth pattern.

LUCY - I will try and do the houndstooth in black and white tonight and post it up, ok!
