BRANDING IRON BUTTERFLIES

This Konad-i-cure is what I am wearing today. I am using two new nail polishes. For the base I used China Glaze - Branding Iron. This color is everything I thought it would be, which is WONDERFUL. This color is what the majority of my nail polish consisted of before I really started adding to my collection. This is just the perfect color for my skin tone I think. I used China Glaze - Passion for the konad stamping.

Here is what I used:

I used the butterfly in the center and the little butterfly for my pinky nails.

Here are the results:

Do you see how nice and bright and shiny that gold is? When I brushed it on the stamp plate it didn't look like much, but as soon as I stamped it on the nail it really popped!

Very pretty, Brooke!
I didn't realize that Passion was gold in the first pic, it really looked silver!
I'm not a big fan of gold, but with that red, it's very stunning!
I'm heading off to the dr todat, wish me luck! I am at home so I will have a NOTD up soon.

NESSA - GOOD LUCK!!!!

I will head over and check out your NOTD!

It did kind of look silver! Maybe it was my lighting making it appear that way.

JAMIE - Thanks! I wasn't too impressed with it last night, but this morning when I looked at it, I liked it a little bit better.

Burgundy & deep reds always look good w/gold. That's a hot Konadicure you have!

I was fooled by the first pic of Passion as well. I thought it was silver for sure. :)

RAI - Not heard of it. Looked it up online, I couldnt hardly find anything on it, other than they are supposed to hae some really bright colors.

I would like to see em.

Wow, I bought Passion for the sole reason of future Konad use, glad to see it has such a gorgeous effect! Looks like it would work for a Florida State mani. Unfortunately, I haven't been in a Konad kind of mood since my nails were cut down :(

Hi, I am wondering if you used a regular polish instead of konad special polishes? How is it working?
I nether tried it when i have konad kit.
Thanks

THE ASIAN GIRL - Go Warriors.......errrr I mean GO SOOONERS!!! I hear ya on the short nails thing, I loose all my artistic nail art mojo when I have shorties.

DREAMKA - Yes!!! I use regular polish and it works just fine. However like I said I still think it is nice to have a white and black in the Konad Special Polish because those are so pigmented and it's hard to find a regular white or black polish that will work as good as the konad's. But as you can see in this post I used regular China Glaze nail polish for the stamping and it turned out very nice! You should try it next time you konad. SOme polishes work better than others, so just get several brands and colors and go crazy :)

OLGA - That's me and Dinky - so very very elegant :) You have a good weekend girlfriend :)
