READER REQUEST

Yesterday I had a comment from one of my fabulous readers that they would like to see the Houndstooth pattern I did on my nails done in the traditional black and white.
Here is what I used:
Konad Plate M63

Konad Special Polish in White

China Glaze - Liquid Leather

I had a couple of smudges due to my own error and then I didn't clean off my stamper as well as I thought because when I used the red paint for my thumb (more on that below) I didn't get it all off because you can see a little of the red paint on my middle finger. However, I still believe that you can get the idea.

I have never used my Konad Special Polish in red, so I thought I would try the red on my thumb. The white polish is so pigmented that I thought the red would have shown up more vibrantly than it did. It ended up looking brown when stamped over black.

I was surprised that the red wasn't pigmented. I don't love it that much :(

Love that pattern! It's so chic.

The pattern is awesome! I didn't see that red becoming a brown though!

Brooke thank you so so much! I just love the traditional black & white houndstooth! Bless you girl for doing it so quickly. I also like the "red" and black. That looks like a nice fall manicure. You are just the nicest person.

NESSA - I was totally surprised when it looked brown on my nail instead of red!

LUCY - No problem! I enjoy doing it! I just wish it would have been a little neater, but I am sure I will be doing it again really soon, I am just in love with that pattern!

RAI - Have you seen that Keri Hilson video for Turnin me on? She has her nails done with this same pattern and colors. But I think her's are the MINX nails and not konaded.

I did notice her nails in that video!!

Gosh if I had patience and didn't
rush I'll sooo do something to them. lol

My fave is black and red, looks rather preppy.

RAI - I know, if I rush through it turns out like crap. The best way is to paint you nails one day and then konad them the next.

OLGA - Thanks. I just wish it would have shown up a bit more, the pictures make it look more red and prominent than it was IRL.
