NOTD

So for today's nail of the day, I took a little advice from my son and went ahead and stamped over Finger Paints - Lilac Lagoon. However - I didn't do the requested pirates or animals. I went for something a little more refined - hounds tooth. I am after all trying to carry on this whole "ladylike" theme here! What better color to stamp with than gold!

Sunshine pics :)

You should really enlarge this pic to see all that cool gold glitter from the base color. It looks pretty awesome.

And if you STILL don't think my nails look good take a look at the next pic. . . . . . . .

Oh yeah! That's a big ole hunk of brownie bottom cheesecake topped with chocolate, caramel and peanut butter. (Although I'm really scared now from you ladies who left comments in the last post about nibbling on my nails. . . . . . you know who you are~~)

I made this cheesecake the other night. I wasn't real impressed with how it turned out but it sure does look damn good though!

Can't you almost taste it in this pic??

KAE - Thank you. I love to bake, I don't do it as much as I used to. But desserts are my favorite to do.

That looks great. Really pretty. Do you get the UK version of Little Britain over there? There's a character in that who is blatantly a man but he dresses like a woman and flounces about going "I'm a laydeeee". Not that I'm comparing you to a man in a dress in any way shape or form but the catchphrase stuck in my head!

I hope you're holding that bird nice and gently!

Cheesecake looks yum yum yum. I don't really eat desserts but my other half loves rustling up a good pudding.

That is a sweet photo. I think your houndstooth Konad is so pretty. Amazing dessert! I bet your "boys" loved it. I think a pirate manicure would be cute.

That looks really nice together (the colors, I mean!). Why did you post that dessert? Now I need to go find something to eat :)

I like the hounds-tooth pattern Koand plate, The purple & gold hounds-tooth is a neat combo.

You made that cake, it looks like it is from a magazine spread.

You got skill'z miss, don't be so hard on yourself!!!!

HELEN - LOL at me holding that bird gentle! It does appear as though I am strangling the life out of him! Please note - no birds were harmed in the photo shoot!

LUCY - Thank you. Well the BF actually doesn't like cheesecake - I know, what's wrong with him, right?

MARY - If I'm not causing you to want a nail polish, now it's food! Is there no end to the madness???

YUMMY411 - I know, i was imediatly drawn to the houndstooth pattern too when I first started seeing the konad. they just look so classy!

NESSa - oh, yes, the whole family is just SOOOOOO refined , lol!!
