UNTRIED BOX

Well, Ladies, it has finally come the time that I think I need my very first "UNTRIED BOX" !! Very exciting, to me at least. My collection is growing , by the day (literally), and I am afraid I am getting so many new polishes that some might get left by the wayside. And that's just to sad to think about :(
So I am now going to start my very first UNTRIED BOX.

What about you guys? Where are you all with your nail polish collections? Just getting started? Looking to slim it down?? I would love to hear what you all have to say.
Hope you all have a great, polished day!

Today I got home ChG Crystal ball, looks great in the bottle. Gonna digg in now :D

I've forced myself to quit buying for awhile...though I do want to "splurge" on some nail art pens here soon. I try to keep my collection manageable, but there are some colors in the spring collections that I'm not going to be able to resist. ;-)

Congrats on your new polishes...I love that Nfu-Oh bottle!

Yup, I also have an untried box for the same reason. I'd hate for any of the little pretties to get left by the wayside. I am trying to slim down my collection because I have so many colors I just won't wear. I wish you could sell once used polishes on ebay! I don't understand why you can't, I think it is so dumb. Polish has so many chemicals that all of the germs get killed. I have so many bottles that I'll never use that I know someone else would love! I was going to do the zoya exchange for some of them, but there aren't that many zoya's that I really want right now. sigh.

AMABILE - Everyone has to start somewhere, the important thing is you have started! :)

JAMIE - What kind of nail art pens are you looking for? I had trouble with my strip rite pens drying up on me, I got them from Sally's.

KATEE - Do you ever get on MUA? I know they do alot of nail polish swaps there. It is a great way to get rid of ones you have tried but dont like and in return get some you do from someone else. I believe there is even a special part where you list which ones you are willing to swap and another list of ones you really want. It is a pretty cool idea, I think.

KAJSA - Whoops! I'm sorry I missed you :) The rodeo diva collection has alot that I want, but I don't have any from that collection - YET! I do have Crystal Ball, and I love it! Looks like fairy dust was dumped in a dark red polish.

I've just been utterly, utterly ruthless and pared down my collection. 40 bottles either given away to needy friends or destined for ebay so I can recoup my losses on polishes with Formaldehyde in 'em #B)

NIXXY - Nixxy's Needy Nailpolish Needers - how can I get on that list!!?? lol

That dumb formaldehyde, go to
h - e - double toothpicks! :P

When I realized I had enough untried bottles of nail polish that I could literally wear a different color every week for more than a year I realized something else ... I was going to have to start painting my nails more often than once a week LOL.

Hehehe! I just had this vision of Lucy from "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" entering Pixie's closet, only to be buried in an avalanche of tiny nail polish bottles heee #:D

EMMA - We all had to start somewhere! Congrats, and before you know it, you will have more polish than you know what to do with :)

COLETTE - Your nail polish lasts on your nails a whole week??? I have to change mine daily! Especially with the fast dry top coats it is too easy not to.

NIXXY - LOL! That's one avalanche I wouldnt mind digging my way out of :)

I was actually a quick-dry skeptic until I started reading the nail blogs about a month ago. Then I went to Sally's & picked up a bottle of Seche Vite & I have to say I am mightily impressed - but I am only on my second manicure using it, & I'm just not in the habit of doing my nails more often. Plus, with the exception of a little tip wear they still look good so I almost feel guilty taking it off, especially since I'm loving this Unfaithful Red so much.

Probably the Nubar pens, Brooke. I have some Stripe Rite bottles, but they do dry up quickly. I had the Nubar pens years ago, and they were very nice, so I'll see about getting some of those in the next month or so. :-)

I've had so much troubles with quick dry top coat and bubbles, I just don't use it. I do use the drops, but it still isn't fully set quickly enough for me to do my nails more than once per week, so you're in good company, Colette!

JAMIE - I have had problems too with bubbles on the quick dry when the bottles get about 1/2 full. I have heard to add a few drops of nail polish thinner and it will bring it back to like new status. I just recently purchased some thinner. I will let you know what I think of it.

COLETTE - I hear ya on hating to change a good looking mani, but I just get too excited about using a new color I can't wait. I have no patience :)
