PURPLE WITH GOLD GLITTAH!

I got this idea for my NOTD yesterday, and it worked out pretty well I think. I forgot to get pictures of the products I used! For the base it was OPI - Do you Lilac it?, OPI - Lourve me Lourve me not was used for the diagonal. Then for the gold glitter design I used my Strip Rite NAP. It is basically the same thing I did yesterday, just changed up a little bit. I really like the gold with these two colors of purple.

Looks regal! How did you make the diagonal?? I want to try that today. I was thinking of trying mailing lables or something.

THE PBG - The diagonal is really easy to make just using your nail polish brush. You don't want a lot of nail polish on it and I just kind of "draw" a diagonal line and then paint down under the diagonal line.

However - I did just get a really good tip the other day on another blog (The Hungry Asian) to use painters tape! If you dont have it handy, i have heard of mailing labels working.

I would try to free hand it though, and if you use a nail art pen to go over the diag. then you really don't have to worry about it being a straight line as the nap will cover up any perfections.

I happen to have some painter's tape around. I'm going to use that and give it a try. I do NOT trust my free hand skills! LOL!

Thanks for the tips!

Hahahha..."tips". :)
