LET'S CHIT CHAT

RESCUE BEAUTY LOUNGE
My three polishes I ordered from Rescue Beauty Lounge are stuck in New Joirsey. They were supposed to be delivered today, but I don't think they will make it until after the holiday! Shucks, that was going to be my gift under the tree from Santa. So kick rocks Fed Ex!

WATER MARBLE MANI'S
If you haven't seen Thriszha's (from FAB UR NAILS) marble mani, then take a look:

ummmmm, can we say AWESOME!
I need to give this kind of mani a try again. I tried it once and it ended up being a big FAIL. So with the help of a couple of tutorials I found from Elaine of LACQUER LAINE and Colette of MY SIMPLE PLEASURES, I am going to give this a try again.

PACKAGE FROM JAPAN

I swear I think I'm just spoiled rotten by thoughtful nail bloggers. Jen from NEVER TOO MUCH GLITTER has sent me a hefty package full of wonderful Japan things! Including some more of my beloved TiNS, this time though they are duo-chromes --- ooooh, aaaaah, right??? Not to mention some other brands of nail polish, a set of one of a kind nails, and lots more. Hoping to get all the pics taken tonight and posted tomorrow.

When my packages get delivered by Fed Ex, they get delayed the most, I really dont like Fed Ex. The UPS man is my friend. :-)
How exciting though! I didnt get myself a polish gift for Christmas because all my money right now is going towards a MAC gift to myself. lol

I'm waitin' on my RBL package too! It didn't even get shipped until 12/20, and the sale was on 12/15.
I'm sure they had tons of orders (plus the storms on the East coast ain't helping).
Boooo.

Good luck with the water marbling Brooke! I recommend doing a test run or two just to get the hang of it, I'll usually try some colors & then fold a piece of paper small enough to dip in to see how the colors work together.

ok, so um, how does everyone know when theirs are "supposed" to be delivered? my order from RBL doesn't show anything about shipping, and I didn't even get a confirmation email for the second order I put in later in the day after I decided I really did need those other colors I'd left out of the first order. I'm starting to get a little panicky

I just go my RBL yesterday morning! I ordered 7 polishes. I finally got Locavore which I really wanted but not at $18. You lucky girl getting Jen's package! Can't wait to see all of your loot. That marbling tutuorial is amazing. One of these days I'll have to try it. Have a wonderful holiday Brooke. I know you spoiled all your humans and Dinky. Little is going to be happy when Santa comes. Merry Christmas everyone.

Ange-Marie, I would email RBL's customer service and find out what's up. Maybe you already have...

In my case, I got confirmation of my order, then I received an email five days later (on a Sunday) stating that the order had been shipped. I had a tracking number, but when I tried to track it over the next day and a half, I got the message "no info available." The day after I was able to track it (only then did I get an expected delivery date). On 12/22, the package was in NJ. I live in CA.

Did you finally get your package? I live in VA and was supposed to get it on the 19th; they showed up on the 21st. Of course, we DID get 22 inches of snow in 18 hours. Heck, we didn't even get mail for 2 days. I'm not sure there's anything anyone could've done about it.
