Today I have a guest who would like to share her water marble mani attempt.
Jenelle H. contacted me through email about my hunt for doing a marble mani. Janelle talks about what she used and even a tip to help in attaining a great marble mani.
"
I used NYC polishes in polyester pink, fuchsia shock and white. They worked great! But I did have some trouble at first when I used tap water, I live in the country and we have less-than-perfect water from a well and the nail polish ended up just in a ball at the bottom of the cup. So I used our bottled drinking water and it worked sooo perfectly! "
Absolutely fabulous!! Great job Janelle! I will try the bottled water trick and see if it helps me at all!

This turned out amazing! I had a problem with the polish bubbling the first time around but i think i may now know how to change that.

WOW! Great marbled mani!
I had a lot of troubles with marbles to, bu now i nailed it. Just 2 tips from me too:
1. Make a water worm also helps a lot
2. When marble on water it does not have to look nice,really... Just make it as random as you can, and it will work out greate.
This manicure is fabulous, very good job

Oh wow those turned out really well! I have to try this out, though I might have to use bottles water too because we're far out from the city too. Love the colours!
this is my first time visit. saw your website posted on MUA. already loving what I see
Oh-la-la... the nails turned out GORGEOUS! I love the different patterns that were created. Our water is hard here too. When I do marbling I have to make sure to use lukewarm water.
This is a great marble mani!!
