Today's version is by Orly. And while it isn't really considered a "matte" and more of a "suede" (as the name suggests), I still consider it a matte. After I put this on I asked my BF what he thought about it. He thought it was a cool looking finish for a polish but he wasn't down with the color. lol - exactly the opposite of what I think. Either way, this color is really pretty and a nice change from my usual everyday look.
I was dying to put some konad on this in white, but I didn't think it would hold up with out a top coat of some sort - which isn't an option for a matte or suede polish. Of course if Sally's would hurry up and get the China Glaze matte tp's out I might be able to do something like that . . . .if only, Sally, if only . . . .!

I love using this skeleton body as a prop!! I think he just looks too cool, so expect to see more of him in October :)

Hi Brooke!
I hauled this one today! I'm not crazy about mattes either, but the color is unique...I own nothing like this.
That is a really cool color, although I am not the biggest fan of straight-up mattes.
I love this color. Still trying to back-pedal your way out of the matte liking. Hah! Looks fantastic on you.
Love this! I eyed it when I was in the other day, and finally convinced myself that the 4 China Glazes I was holding was plenty for me.
I should never listen to myself!
Oh wow I love this. Now if only Orly had this available here...
I agree with you. I was NOT feeling matte trends at ALL, but now a few have crept into my stash and I think they are growing on me! I saw these at Sally's yesterday and didn't get them, although the purple one was tempting.
I love mattes and suede finishes, this is one I do not have and from the picture...must procure for myself!
