FOR ALL MY FOOD LOVERS OUT THERE

Hey girls, wanted to share something with you off the topic of nails, but just as good .....FOOD! I love to cook about as much as I like to do nails, as most of you know. My mom told me about a really good food website that she has been reading called The Pioneer Woman Cooks. Ree Drummond is located here in Oklahoma and her website is a really good mix of cooking, funny writing, wonderful pictures and last, but not least, really good food. I mean when I saw these

(Click pic for recipe)

I KNEW I was hooked! I mean how good do those look? I am a huge bread and butter fan so these are right up my alley, plus they are made with Rhodes frozen bread dough, so they are super easy too!

Anyway, while checking out her website I find that she just did a cook book, The Pioneer Woman Cooks - Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl, and is going on the road to do book signings, and she was going to be at a local bookstore here in Oklahoma City last night. So Mom, Little and I head to Full Circle bookstore to get cook books and get them signed. We were NOT fully prepared for how many people turned out for this. I mean I was in complete shock! Take a look at the line:

This was taken about half way down the hall, and if you look close you will see that line of people goes all the way up the left hand side of the pic, which leads into the book store where the line continues to the table where Ree was seated.

The is looking the other direction to the other half of the line.

Little was shocked , too I guess! lol

And yet the line keeps going and going and going!

On out way out of the book store, I did snap a picture of Ree at the table posing for a picture with a fan. Needless to say we didn't wait in the line. We did go across the street to the mall and waste about 1 1/2 hours time letting the line die down. The line never died down! When we came back at 8:30 the line was still just as long.

Either way, my foodies, check out her website it is full of interesting stuff and wonderful food :)

Those rolls look delicious! I love bread and butter too. I could just make a meal of that pan. I've never heard of this lady. Guess I'll check her out. Good idea using the bread dough.
