Did some swatching for you all last night. First up I have the two new Rimmels I got. I found these at Walgreens for $3.99 each. About $4 is all I think a drugstore brand of nail polish should go for (I'm talking to you Sally H.!).
I got onto Rimmel's website in hopes of finding out more information on this new line of nail polishes, but they have not updated their site with any information yet. UGH!! Huge pet peeve. I would much rather a company NOT have a website if they aren't going to keep it up to date with current information. I did send an email though requesting more information on this collection and hope to get a response back soon.
STEEL GREY
This is one of those colors that can change depending on what lighting you are in. This can look grey, mushroom, khaki or mauve. I really liked this color, but was surprised that it was pretty sheer in the first coat. This polish does require three coats to be opaque. You could get away with two if you apply very carefully though.
PURPLE RAIN
I would love this if it would have stayed a little bit more purple. The flash I used made the purple of this color stand out more than it did in just regular lighting. Even with all that, I did really like this color. Do you see how shiny that baby is?
As far as this new line of polishes, I really, really liked these. My hope is that they are planning to come out with some more adventurous colors though. I love the price and will be getting more of these.

LOVE those. They actually do look "pro".
These are REALLY pretty! They look so shiny! I think I need to scoop up a few of these...
I love these! (Runs to Walgreens!!)
Ooo, I love that taupe!
Oooh I love them, especially Steel Grey. Not seen this line in the UK!
Love them both! Steel Grey looks much more grey on the nail compared to in the bottle.
I love that! Will definitely check them out :D
I wish "Purple Rain" was more purple, it looks more "vamp" like. O(+>
ooohhh! mmmmm!! those are gorgeous! Me wants! Steel Gray reminds me of an OPI np i think it's You Dont Know Jacques, not sure if it's an exact match but they seem very similar, they both have that mushroom-y gray goodness. Purple Rain is so gorgeous, i'm sure i already have have something similar, but i'm getting it anyway..i love the vampy look. Thanks Brooke!
If I ever come across Rimmell in NZ I'm gonna buy 3 bottles of that Steel Grey one - I LOVE it that much. Just the kind of colour I absolutely love. The other one is nice but more similar to other ones I have or can find.
JACKIE S - My complaint too! More purple please :)
OLGA - I think I saw them compared on MUA and it was a little bit different.
Steel Grey - wants this...
PRETTY! The 2nd one is my favorite.
Steel Gray is awesome!
I already have something similar to Purple Rain so yeah lol
Funny name steel grey.. cant really see any grey in it :P
Yay! Drugstore polish! Both colors look amazing on your nails. After my loooong no-buy, I'm gonna check these out. Do let us know if you hear back from Rimmel.

They are both gorgeous colors. They are really shiny and pretty.
I'll have to look for these.
Dangit! Steel Gray in Rimmel & So Much Fawn in Sally Hansen are sooo mine. Those colors are gorgeous.
I just bought the steel gray, before I saw the swatches. It is NICE! Got it at Walgreens. Price $3.99, less my $1.00 off coupon. so I paid $2.99. LOVE IT! Thanks for swatching. Any idea how it compares to A.A. Factory Gray?
