Some things don't ever, ever EVER need to be matted - Essie Van D'Go is one of them. All I can think of is little naked, soft rubber dolls!! I'm totally getting a silence of lambs vibe, like I've made my own little skin nails! Seriously!!
(Full review & regular swatches of Essie - Van D'Go will be posted later.)

It looks like you killed and skinned a Barbie and now you're wearing her as a trophy. Ew, lol.
Lol, ew, Brooke! You just gave me the ickiest visual of little rubber dolls. It totally looks like doll skin, though.
"And it puts the lotion on its skin..."
*blink*
Haha I am laughing so much at the heading of this post! You crack me up!!!
Haha that is truly a doll color! Hope you haven't boiled any to get this color out :P
Is it sick that I kinda like it..... :)
This is kind of like mannequin hands from hell... made me laugh though!
SHAYLA - LMAO!! It puts the lotion in the basket!!!!
KELLY - yes, it is totally sick and I don't know if we can be friends anymore. . . . :)
oh Brooke, you had me and my Husband in fits of laughter, excellent post!
Trophy nails, eew! I sorta like them. Looks like a doll I had from Germany. Unfortunately my brother dropped a heavy book on her and she shattered. The doll was made out of a plastic called turtle skin. Gross.
Lol, I actually liked this a lot, does that make me a doll killer? :P
Now I know where my old Barbie doll went! Then again, she had lost her head a few times and at least I know where her body wound up!
Seems like there has too be some Konad or nail art to make that even worse ... or better depending on your view LOL! =D
Maybe that plate with a little face on it? Or runnels of blood from the doll you skinned? Or stitches like it's a patchword of doll skin! Or ... maybe I'm getting too carried away with the weirdness >.>
Oh my! That does not look so pretty!
I gotta agree...
this was sooo not......
it kinda creeped me out :(
lol well at least we know~ one thing not to matte XD
LOL! It does look like you skinned Chuckie! :D
Lol I would have never thought it looked like doll skin until you mentioned it!!
Interesting....I think I like it- in the I want to touch it kind of way.
I actually like this, it looks so weird.
Yikes! Okay, you made me snort! Hilarious!
I think that it's a bit less like Barbie, and a bit more like those blank baby doll heads (and arms and legs) that you sometimes see at places like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Super creepy. But, right in play with a "mannequin-icure"...
aaah, call me nutty, creepy... whatever
but i like this!!!
I like it. I think it looks like a creamy, peachy easter egg
mannequin hands are definitely a new trend in the nail polish world at the moment.
I love color, so it's definitely not for me... but way to find your skin-shade polish ;D
mannequin hands are supposed popular because they make your fingers look slimmer/longer ... by 'hiding' your nails O.O;;
this color is beautiful.
this color is beautiful.
