ORLY CLEARANCE BIN SWATCHES - 1

Let's get the day started, shall we? I have a ton of swatches for you all. I especially have a ton of Orly swatches. All the Orly's shown below were the ones I got out of the clearance bin at my local beauty supply for only 99 cents each.

Once again, I have come across color coded lids, which is how I broke up all my Orly swatches. First up, all the ones I got that have black lids. Again, I am sure all or most of these are available online at any of the etailers.

POWDER PUFF - I really liked this color. It is a base color that I would use for a funky french, but I also liked how it made my nails look clean.

PINK WHISPER - I thought this one was just ok. Nothing really wowed me about it though. I did like the clean look it gave my nails.

WALK DOWN THE AISLE - Bummer!! I was really hoping this had more of that blueish green color it looked like in the bottle. It think this would work best layered. In the picture I have 5 coats on, so this color is not buildable.

PRETTY PLEASE - This one has a blue flash to it that makes it kind of pretty. It is just a sheer pink with a flash of blue. I thought it matched my skin tone too close though.

ESSENCE OF PEARL - I actually really liked this on! It was just a weird color, very hard to explain. I think it would rock layered over a darker color though.

ACT YOUR SHOE SIZE - Stupid name! The color was nice though. It seemed a bit thin though, you can see it at my tips. It is like the color would not build there for some reason.

MERLOT MIST - Another pretty one. Nothing really special, just a basic brown toned red.

TAKE A CHANCE - For the life of me I could not capture this color in all it's glory. This has a greenish gold color at certain angles!

I have the silver and gold topped bottles coming up next!

O I am glad I didn't get Walk Down the Aisle. I was thinking it was buildable too!

The only one I didn't like was Walk Down the Aisle. The rest were pretty on you. I especially liked Powder Puff. It does give a very pretty look to your nails. You really made out like a bandit on all of these polishes. Maybe you can use that cadaver polish for a franken.

Walk Down the Aisle is disappointing. Oh well, guess we all need a few good layering polishes, eh?

This is my first visit here, but I will be back soon, because I really like the way you are writing, it is so simple and honest
