MISC CHINA GLAZE SWATCHES

All the swatches are of the China Glazes I got from the clearance bin. I had lots of questions in the comment section as to where I got these. These came from a local beauty supply store and not a chain, so there isn't anywhere that you can get these (at that price) unless you live here in Oklahoma. In case you do, I got them from Beauty Co. off I-240 and Penn. Of course I am sure most, if not all of these colors are availble on anyone of the online e-tailers.

I am SOOOO pleased with all of the China Glazes that I selected!! I even got a few jelly's! I am very pleased with them all, but some stood out more to me than others. I will list the polish name and my thoughts on it above the picture I took of each. Since I had so many, I only took full sunlight pictures. As always, you can click the pics to enlarge them to super size and really get in there and look at the polish. Enjoy!

SOPHISTICATION - From the French Bliss collection. This was a nice, semi-sheer white polish with shimmer to it. I liked it, but wasn't wowed by it or anything.

NAKED - This one was super pretty! It is a light pink with tons of shimmer to it! I included an up close pic so you can really see the pretty shimmer this one has.

PURPLE PANIC - I looked this one up and believe there are two versions of this color available. One is a neon purple (which the name fits) and the other is a pink version which I got. The polish as a blue/purple flash to it. I really liked this color.

ROSE AMOUNG THORNS (NEON) - I have thought about getting this one several times and always passed it up for a more interesting color. So I was super pleased to find it in the bargain bin. I was surprised to find it was jelly, but I love jellys so I was excited about it. I really loved this color on. My camera didn't pick up just how bright this color is. This was super pretty ladies, if you don't have it and like bright colors with jelly finishes, GET THIS COLOR!

ITALIAN RED - This turned out to be jelly too! I didn't expect that at all when I looked at it in the bottle. This is just a pretty, jelly red. I loved this one too!

NO NAME - This was the only one that didn't have a sticker on the bottom, so I have no idea what the name of this one is. I really like red polish though, so I got it. I am pleased with it. I think it is a nice, basic red.

RESTLESS - This one is a darker pink version of Naked. These both had the same awesome shimmer to it, so I included an up close pic of this one too. I really thought this just looked so pretty in the sun.

VERANO - A frosty looking pinkish purple color. I don't think I have another color quite like this one. This has a micro silver shimmer to it that gives it that "frosty" look.

EXOTIC CRANBERRY - I love this color!! I loved it in the bottle and I just melted once I put it on. It didn't disappoint me in the least. This one seemed to be a little jellyish in texture, and it was super duper shiny. LOVE IT!! This is the color I wore to the boat show.

POWER OF RED - Oh so pretty!! This color reminds me of the type of polish I used to buy all the time. I would have about 7 bottles of this color by different brands or variations of this shade. I just love it! It is a basic shimmery red - what isn't to love?

TREAT ME LIKE A QUEEN - This one I was only so-so with. It was more brown that I normally like.

HEART OF AFRICA - Another color I was feeling just so-so on. Nothing wrong with it, just wished it was a tad more . . .something!! Maybe darker?

One last thing, I have a question that I hoping one of you "smrt" ladies will have an answer too. I noticed that some of my China Glazes have silver tops on them, while most are black. Does anyone know what the difference is between silver tops and black tops??

I see someone went swatch crazy! These all look so good on you, Brooke! I love the berry & red shades! You made out like a polish bandit from that clearance bin! :)

Brooke,
I think I saw someone ask China Glaze that question on twitter, and they said it depends on what color cap their marketing department thinks will look best. I dont 100% buy that answer cause alot of the darker colors could really use that light bottle printing and light cap.
But thats what they say anyway!

hope that helps a bit!

Girl, you found a motherlode of polishes I've never seen swatched before! I love all the reds, they're all great, and when you say jelly, I get excited. I love jellies too! They're so much fun. Thank you for swatching all of them here :)

What beautiful polishes. Your nails look so lovely. That was an amazing find. You have the luck of the polish gods on your side. I thought my holo had silver caps. Very confusing. Each one is more beautiful than the other.

Perhaps the silver cap are the old school ones, with big 3?

wow, what a find! several of these are so pretty that they're going on my list!

I thought the non-black caps/text meant they were manufactured before the switch to 3-free.
