BABY BLUE & GOLD NOTD

Bet you thought I forgot about guys today, didn't ya? The day just blew by and I didn't get time to post earlier today, so I'm doing it from home tonight.

My NOTD started with about 5 coats of China Glaze - Moody Blue, a very watery, baby blue jelly polish. I love this color and think it is worth it to paint the 5 required coats. I ordered some little metal initial nail art bits from Transdesign several months ago, and actually forgot I had them until the other day. I decided to use them on my ring fingers. I used little gold dots to form a circle around the "B" and to form a polka dot pattern.

Nice mani, i like the big glitters. I think you are the only blogger making pictures of your nails in the dark by the tv, lol!

FIVE coats! You must really love this color. This is a really pretty mani :)

Beautiful shade of blue. Would it help to use a white nail polish first? Or maybe it would lose the jelly quality. Five coats is so much but I love it. Love the dots and the initial. Very pretty manicure. Have a wonderful weekend.

5 coats is crazy! But I agree it's worth it for this gorgeous baby blue shade. Love the nail art too!

Oh but I do love this! I love how you encircled the B with the dots, it must have been really tedious!

Great manicure! Love how the 'B' sticks out, but the added gold polka dots help it all mesh into a gorgeous blue/gold mix.

Moody Blue is a beautiful blue, but for some reason it reminds me completely of RBL Bikini Bottom - especially with the 5 coats needed. Do you know if they are similar?
