NOT MY FINEST MOMENT

I like the idea behind this mani, I just can't stand my execution of it. And I am appalled at that stupid bow on my middle finger, lol!! I am going to try and recreate this mani again, this time taking a little bit more patience and time to complete it. There isn't anything majorly wrong with it, but I can see my mistakes and they stick out like a sore thumb to me. Also the bow is one of those things that I just kept adding to in hopes of me liking it better and instead it gets a FAIL.

OH well, it will soon be washed away thanks to acetone and I will have a blank slate to work with. Ahhhh, the joys of painting ones nails.

This weekend I am going to try and do several different french mani variations, since I got that Nailene stuff I kind of have the "french mani" bug.

I think that looks really cute and good (: but I know the feeling when I can see all my mistakes in something but everyone else thinks it's just fine

I really like the tips, and i think they'd look good with black line instead of the red glitter line. Really pretty tips though!

This doesn't look bad at all, Brooke. I agree that the bow was maybe a bit much...but otherwise, looks great!

I've been there before...
thinking that it will look better, or rather more liked when I add another doodad onto the design.
I, like you, usually end up removing it as well :T
I'm going to have to get me the plate that you used for the tips though...love it :)

Only you can see your mistakes I don't see anything wrong with these. I agree you are way too hard on yourself. This looks very pretty to me. I'm still trying to get your plaid look right and you can clearly see my mistakes. I need to get a matte top coat will you please recommend one. Thanks

I really like that bow - you have talent! The tips are great, too. I understand about seeing ones own imperfections but I don't see them!! :)

Brooke there is nothing wrong with this manicure. It's a gorgeous holiday manicure. Very pretty. I like the red glitter line. Your bow is amazing. I like the little jewel. Your insane girly! I know you are a perfectionist about your nails. They really do look lovely. Have a wonderful weekend.
