LIPPMANN VARIATIONS

While swatching the Lippmann's I showed you yesterday, I decided to do a few variations with two of the polishes, Ruby Red Slippers and Happy Birthday. I didn't touch Superstar - it IS perfection! So these are a couple of different looks I came up with for RRS and Happy Birthday.

The first one I did was to add RRS over Essie - Lollipop. I really like the way this came out. It just gave RRS a brighter look. I only put one coat over Lollipop and I think that was enough to just give it a little kick.

This is what 3 coats of just RRS looks like above.

And below you will see one coat of RRS over Essie's Lollipop:

Next I wanted to layer Happy Birthday over a couple of colors, so I used two metallic ones from China Glaze. The silver one is Millennium, and the gold one is 2030 from the Khrome collection. (THANK YOU DANA!!)
