SCAM ALERT! BEAUTY XPERTS (CENTRAL NAILS AND BEAUTY SUPPLY) & THE NAIL SPOT!!



Sorry for the long post title, but thought it might be helpful to anyone doing a google search under those two etailer names.

A month ago I ordered from Beauty Xperts (aka Central Nails and Beauty Supply), rec'd a order confirmation. When I checked my online bank account saw the money was taken out the next day. When I didn't receive a tracking number, I started to get a little worried, so I emailed them and requested one. No return email was rec'd. I tried to call the phone number they have listed and got no answer. After SEVERAL phone calls, I knew I had been scammed. I sent them another email demanding my money back - of course, no response was rec'd. I found another phone number for them and tried called that one as well, only to have the same results - nothing!

After calling my bank, they said I had to wait 30 days before they could do anything. After 30 days with still no email response from this company and no one answering either phone number, I turned it over to my bank to handle. They were able to handle it but told me to watch my account closely - scammers like this will run your card several times and for me to make sure there weren't any other charges that I had not approved. I got my money back through my bank - thank goodness.

While doing my own research on this company I also found another online etailer set up by the same person, with the SAME PHONE NUMBER called The Nail Spot. Please beware ladies - I would not order from either of these two places.

I also found this today - MORE BAD REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE!!

Gosh, these scammers make my skin crawl, I do hope these online retailers will be shut down asap!

I'm glad you get your money back.

I had never heard of them. I only buy at good old popular places with a very good reputation.

Reading comments on merchantcircles, they seem to scam people since at least June 2009. I'm amazed that they continue their business without getting any legal trouble.

i ALSO ORDER FROM THEM ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO AND HAD THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME NO TRACKING NUMBER OR EMAILS ANSWERED OR PHONE FOR THE MATTER BUT MY BANK RESOLVED MY ISSUE THANK GOODNESS!

I just did a whois search and there's useful information there if you want to really make a difference. I can't, I've never had an experience with them, but I would encourage you to write to their hosting company and also use the email and information there to file a report.

Oh no - I placed an order with this company 2 weeks ago! Explains why I haven't received my order or any response to my emails. I hope my bank will help me get my money back.

So sorry that happened to you, Im always a bit iffy when ordering from online e-tailers I dont really know about. I have been hearing about a lot of scams like this lately! Thanks for warning us!

I'M SO PISSED! I ordered over 50 bucks worth of stuff over a week ago. When I tried to track my order it never said it was shipped. So i waited a few days and called..and the phone just rang and rang and rang...then it just so happens one of their sites was "under construction" and so i called again..and I e-mailed twice and i have gotten no responce. I am so pissed bc i don't just have money to throw away!!!!!!
