CHINA GLAZE: WHITE-KWIK-SILVR

I have seen this polish on other people and just LOVED it. So I finally snagged a bottle for myself and was really unimpressed with it. I actually thought I ordered the wrong one and took the internet to see if in fact I had made a mistake. Nope. Mine seems much sheerer, less white and less gold shimmer than all of the other pictures I have seen of it. Did I get a bum bottle? HERE ARE SOME OTHER PICTURES. I also don't get all the dashes and spelling of the words in the name of this, it sort of bothers me.

In hopes of liking this better I slapped on a coat of matte magic. Still not impressed....but better than shiny.

Maybe try Zoya's Gaia. It is one of my top 5 favorites. Gorgeous soft white with tons of gold micro shimmer.

Hey the spelling and dashes are because these are name after different brands of surfer gear. Hope that helps!

I still think that it is pretty, I love how it looks matte. Maybe you just got a bad bottle?

sucks you got a bad bottle, but it is still pretty. It reminds me of snow

I agree, I like it better matte. It sucks when you get disappointed with something you were really hyped up about, no? This is why I try not to get so hyped up about stuff.

CAITLIN - Thanks! Now that makes sense. Seems like this was part of a surfer collection, so that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up :)

APRIL/ASHLEY - Thanks! I have seen that one too. On my list of "wants" it goes :)

honestly to me it looks exactly the same as the pics on nailgal...if not better on your nails.

esp. if you look at scrangie's pic of it, hers looks sheer especially on the pointer finger swatch.

I think it looks great on you. It looks just like my bottle does and I got it with the original release. Half my bottle is gone now!Do you have Essie Tennis Corset?

I had the same experience! I loved it in everyone's pictures, hated it on me! It made me look pasty somehow.

I think this is a really pretty polish. I'm usually not crazy about this shade. Looks like pretty material you'd use for a special dress. I also like it matte.
