SINFUL COLORS - HAPPY ENDING, I MISS YOU & SECRET ADMIRER

I have a ton more swatches to show you all today. I am working my way through my box of untrieds, so be prepared for more swatching and a little less nail art in the next couple of weeks. I'm going to start off with three Sinful Color polishes I picked up. Again, you can get these at Walgreens for $2.00 each.

HAPPY ENDING
This is showing a tad bit brighter than in real life, but isn't this color just gorgeous?? I wouldn't typically like this shade of green for me to wear, but I really liked this. That bright yellow flash is just awesome.

HAPPY ENDING MATTE
Here it is with one coat of ChG Matte Magic.

I MISS YOU
This is your typical tinted jelly base with glitter polish. Nothing real special, but looks very nice just the same. I believe this was 4 coats here, so it stays on the thin side and would probably work best over a base color.

SECRET ADMIRER
Wow - I thought this looked cool in the bottle, but on it is just WOW!! This is a black base with tons of micro silver shimmer. Very awesome color and very opaque. With careful application I could have gotten away with just one coat. My pictures don't do this color the justice it deserves.

I am madly in love with Happy Ending. I was stunned when I put it on. I thought the name was real cute sounding until someone made a comment on my post that said "There is a polish called 'Happy Ending'?" and then I realized it could sound dirty. haha!! Maybe I like it even more now

I love Secret Admirer. I swooped that up as soon as it made its debut this summer.

I will try to post pictures of my grandma's nails when we get around to spangling them. She's hilarious. She bought this super vampy dark blue Revlon and then gave it to me around Christmas. She was like, "I was going to wear this because it matches my blue Christmas sweater but I think it might be too dark." Hahahaha. She's so trendy. She bought some black tights too because she saw them in my Vogue.

Okay, I'm writing a novel in your comments. Sorry :)

These are all fantastic polishes. Happy Endings is gorgeous. That yellow flash is fantastic. Your nails are really looking so good. I have all of these. Thank God or else I'd have to call my girlfriend to stop at Walgreens on the way home from work.

Happy ending is so hot!

Is Happy ending a cheeper version of Zoya Midori?

Lacquer Laine said...

Kajsa - (Sorry for butting in Brooke) Happy Ending and Midori are not that similar. Midori leans a bit olive and Happy Ending is much much brighter. It's nearly neon. I like Happy Ending better, personally. Hope this helps! :c)

KAJSA & LACQUER LAINE - Thanks Elaine, I don't have Midori to compare Happy ending too, so thanks for answering :)

I went to the drugstore today and saw some new Sinful Colors polish that I just about died for. It's a rich blue color and of course I can't remember the name while I'm at work. I'm a sucker for dark and neon colors.
