MAYBELLINE WET SHINE DIAMONDS COLLECTION

As I noted in an earlier post, I had a swatch-a-thon this past Saturday morning. Back when Dollar Tree's were actually carrying good nail polish, I stocked up on a TON of old, discontinued Maybelline nail polishes. I believe these came two to a package - which made them only 50 cents each!! Most have sat unused in the "maybelline shoe box" untouched since I got them. So I decided to pull these babies out and swatch them.

For the first swatches I will show you all of the Wet Shine Diamonds collection that I have. These colors are really awesome in that they have a very cool shimmer to all of them. I think it looks alot like the glass fleck finish that China Glaze recently did with their summer 09 collection.

Warning: This is very pic heavy!

The last two fingers have a coat of black nail polish underneath. I wanted to see the effect that it would have since this was such a light color of pink.

Look at how freakin' awesome Clear Cut Diamond is over black! Obviously Clear Cut Diamond is the clear cut winner from this collection!!

I think all of these are pretty cool colors, but Clear Cut Diamond, Plum Solitaire and Rhinestone Pink were my faves. Do any of you all have any of Wet Shine Diamond collection? What were your faves?
Tomorrow I will have all of Maybelline duo-chromes for you! And I promise some of them are going to knock your socks off!

I have a bunch of these and I love them. They last longer on me than higher priced polishes. I also like the Wet Shine ones without the shimmer. They really have the looking wet effect!

I remember these! I never got any of the nail polishes - I love the swatches though, but I had a couple of the lipsticks - I wore one of those shades when I got married. LOL!!!

These are gorgeous! The Rhinestone Pink looks just like OPI's Princesses Rule. The first polish looks like the China Glaze from that collection that had Watermelon Rind and so on. I can't think of it off hand. I like the Jewels and Berries. Pretty shade sort of like a raspberry. What a gorgeous diamon shine on the last one. That should look good over many polishes. I have a pink lipstick from the Diamond Collection. I love it and wish I had another one. I have lipsticks that are way more expensive (Mac) but this is my favorite.
