BLACK DIAMONDS

Black diamonds - I wish! But that is what this look makes me think of. I did this look and it was one of the ones that I just couldn't stop looking at! I got the idea for this look from one I had professionally done, which I posted here.

WHAT I DID TO GET THIS LOOK:

For the nail bed I taped off my tip area and I applied Zoya - Christina. Christina is a sheer pearly white. This was on clearance at a local beauty supply here and I got it for only 99 cents!

Then I applied CND - Hyde In The Dark to my tips. HITD is a lovely dark grey color. It was too dark in my opinion to use all over my nail since it was so long, so I thought it would be perfect to just use it on my tips - I was right, lol. ;)

Then I used one of my nail art pens in black to paint a line where my two colors meet. This adds a little something extra to the look AND you don't have to be perfect with trying to line up your two colors.

Then I painted the whole nail with China Glaze - Fairy Dust. I also got this at the same beauty store on clearance for 99 cents!! I am in love with this polish. It absolutely looks like diamonds on my nail to me. You can see by the picture how this nails were bringing the bling! I am a big sparkles freak - if it sparkles I love it! Rhinestones, sequins, glitter - all of that!

**SIDE NOTE: Please disregard my cuticles and the fact that I needed to do some touch ups with a fill in.
