ICING TOP COAT - SUNLIT

This is the second polish from the Icing top coats I picked up. This is a gold version of Glitz & Glamour - same type of jelly formula with silver tinsel and micro glitter. I didn't like this one on its own though. The gold comes off as yellow and not very attractive. Shown is 3 coats.

However, over a bright yellow this top coat worked fabulous! I used Diamond Cosmetics Yellow Lemon Zest (I think that is the name?) for the base color and then added 1 coat of Sunlit. I loved how this turned out! It was super summery and cheerful!

I agree--on its own it's not so attractive. Looks like a great layering polish, though!

Don't like the first manicure. Looks like your nails are badly stained! Now that polish over the yellow is fantastic looking. Would look wonderful on a bright Summer day!
