IT'S A BIRD, IT'S A PLANE, IT'S A CHANDELIER . . . ?

Don't know if that is what the stamp is supposed to be or not, but that's what I thought of when I saw it. Doesn't it resemble a black chandelier?

I thought it also looks like a lacey bat sometimes too. Very weird but cool stamp. I honestly can not remember where I got this stamp from, but I think it was from one of my Bundle Monster plates, but I'm really not even 50% sure about that.

I love the combo of mint green with black, it just makes the green look chic to me, and less soft and pastel.

Since I have been looking at these home decorating type blogs and websites I have really started to take a liking to chandeliers. There are some really cute and cool ones out there!

CHG - VINTAGE VIXEN COLLECTION PT. 2

Ok, here are the final 6 polishes from China Glazes Vintage Vixen collection. I believe this collection is set to be released in early July. Again, some really amazing colors! The formula was spot on as usual for China Glaze, most requiring only 2 coats for full coverage. Let's take a look:

Gorgeous bronzy shimmery brown! Wow, my Mom is going to love this color, she is a huge brown nail polish fan. I'm not a huge brown fan but this won me over, really pretty.

WOWZA! A beautiful red with small gold glitter. I got a close up pic of the bottle so you could see the gold glitter better. What is so cool about this is that the gold glitter accentuates the polish and doesn't take it over, so you get this glinting of gold with out it shouting hey! I'm glitter!!

Jitterbug is another of those cool foily looking polishes. This one was a little thinner and did require three coats instead of the 2 that most of the others only needed. This looks so icy!

I really liked this one (ok, how many times have I said that with this collection?). I love the rose gold color of this. This has that same foily goodness going on and required three coats too.

Tried to get as color accurate of pictures as I could of this one. This one I was just kind of so so about. I wish this would have had that cool foily look to it. It does have some blue glitter sprinkled through out that glints and looks awesome.

Another one I was a little "meh" on. I really wanted to like this one better, but I just didn't. I can't put my finger on it, but it just seems like it needs a little something more to it. This had the slight foily thing going on, but not to the extent that some of the others had, maybe that's what is missing. Still a very pretty color, but one I would label as a "mature" color.

My thoughts on this collection as a whole is that it is just awesome. Collections like this is what makes China Glaze my favorite brand of them all. While I can't say that every color is a must have, at least for me, at least 3/4ths of the collection IS A MUST! Some unique colors and finishes paired with China Glazes great quality is a WIN in my book!

ANCHORS AWEIGH

This is by far not one of the best konadicures I have done. I admit it, it was rushed and it shows. That being said, I still liked the idea of this color combo and using the anchor stamp so I decided to show it to you all anyway. I didn't really take my time with this because I knew I was going to take it right off as soon as I was done since I had the rest of the ChG Vintage Vixen collection to swatch.

So let's just pretend that is water we see dripping off the anchors and not a hot streaky mess, ok?

On a sort of related note, don't know if you all watch Deadliest Catch or not, but last nights show was super sad.

ILLAMASQUA - PROPAGANDA

I know - HOT, right? Helen from JUST NICE THINGS sent me this lovely polish. I mean what isn't to love about this dark blue jelly? I LOVE that it is the darkest possible blue you can get without looking totally black. Thanks again Helen, this color is just beautiful.

LET ME GIVE YOU MY CARD....

I have wanted to make some business cards that have all my blog info on them for a while now. Don't know how many times I end up having to write out my blog address for people, or spell it out for them to write down. I thought this would be a cool way to do it.

I made my cards using Zazzle.com and they were pretty inexpensive to do. I designed them and I think I think I did a pretty good job, I'm pleased with how they turned out.

Needless to say I can't wait to hand out my first card!!

CHG - VINTAGE VIXEN COLLECTION PT. 1

Good morning ladies! Today I'm bringing you six of the twelve colors from China Glaze's Vintage Vixen collection. So far I'm very impressed! The colors have been amazing so far. All were pretty opaque and I could easily get away with using only two coats for most of these.

This is the one I MOST excited to get. The color is so unique that I can't help but love it. I had read some reviews that called this a mustard color, but I didn't get that at all. I think they named it perfect because this is definitely a camel color in my opinion.

This is a warm reddish brown color and man does it look good on! I wasn't expecting to like this one as much as I did but I really do.

Another awesome unique color! Don't think I have another one like this, yes I have plenty of mushroom colored polishes, but this one has gold shimmer in it! As much as I LOVE these types of colors they never look quite right on me, but oh well I will wear it any way!

I wasn't prepared for how much I was going to like this one either. I think these colors are deceptive in their bottles. In the bottles they look so tame, but as soon as you put them on they just come to life. How pretty is this polish? This blue is just so shimmery and pretty, who wouldn't love it?

Love the cute clever name of this one. I soooo wish this one would have had a finish more like the one above. This is a pretty green, don't get me wrong, but I just wish it came alive like Midnight Mission did. This was the only one I was underwhelmed with from the six I swatched last night.

Bogie - i immediately thought of our dog up at work with the same name, lol. Another tame color in the bottle and an animal on the nails. Very pretty, almost foily - but in a good way. I'm normally not a fan of just straight foil polishes, this one takes all the good things from a foil polish, very very pretty!

I can't wait to bring you all part two, I'm hoping the awesome colors just keep on coming!
