POOR DINKY! & FOOD BLOG UPDATE
Sorry for the lack of posts yesterday and again today will be probably post-less too. Dinky had to go the vet yesterday for having the runs (for lack of a better word) for the past 5 days. Turns out dogs are not to have any pork what so ever! I let her eat the meat off a pork chop bone last week thinking that as long as I took the bone back up from her before she started eating that, that I would be ok. I was wrong, it is the pork meat that dogs can't digest, especially Chihuahua's and Schnauzer's. So nails have been the last thing on my list of to-dos with carpet cleaning being number one - yeah, it was bad! :)
So Dinky is here at work with me today, just chillin. She will be fine. She has a pill to take everyday and some really bland dog food to eat for the next week, but she is feeling better already.
Regular posting should resume tomorrow.
OUR FOOD BLOG
I know, it appears as though we (Me, Christy & Helen) have abandoned our food blog. We haven't, I promise. Between Helen's wedding to be planned, Christy's hectic schedule and me, well I have no excuse, lol, its been put on the back burner (total pun intended). However!!! I am going to do my best to start posting more often on there starting this week. I am going to make THE BEST lemon cookies you have ever eaten in your life - all with only like 3-4 ingredients. So thanks for hanging in there with us girls :)

Poor Dinky! I had no idea dogs can't eat pork, we rarely eat it but good to know. Hope she feels better soon give her a hug and kiss for me ♥
Poor baby dog! We did that with our Dane once. YUCK! Kiss the doggie for me LOL.
No worries on the food blog. Patience is a virtue LOL
Poor Dinky! I didn't know either. We don't really eat pork though, but now I know...
Hope she feels better real soon. That's cool that you were able to bring her to work. I don't think they'd let me do that for any reason. Very cool. Give her a hug for me!
Oh I forgot! We saw this tiny little gray Chihuahua at the vet on Saturday and I thought of those Dinky pictures when she was a baby. So cute! They had him wrapped in a little baby blanket :)
I'm glad Dinky is ok!! Poor baby. The runs suck!
poor dinky :(
Poor Dinky! So glad it was nothing serious!
I hope Dinky gets well soon. Thats great that your office lets your bring her in, I'm sure she loves being there with you than at home being sick.
ohmigoodness, I had no idea! I'll make sure my wee pup avoids pork from now on as well.
Feel better Dinky!!
Poor Dinky! I know about not feeding dogs chocolate or onions, but I had no idea about pork. Give baby Dink a kiss for me!
I never knew why dogs shouldn't eat pork. I just thought it was because of the bone. The bones are too sharp and will splinter in the intestines. Poor Dinky and poor you. I wouldn't want the job of cleaning all that mess up. Are there dog diapers? Sure hope the poor baby feels better.
Poor Dinky, porc meat kan be really dangerous to dogs, never ever give them raw porc, it can contain a virus that is lethal to dogs....
but those crazy dogs just eat all they can reach, did you know that avocado and chocolate are poison too for dogs?
this morning i discovered that my little Sally loves grapefruit...i know she's a crazy little dachshund...
hope Dinky feels all better soon!
