HELLO KITTY, HELLO HOUNDSTOOTH!

Yesterday I just knew I was going to want to stamp over that gorgeous pink glitter NOTD and the stamps I picked didn't disappoint. The Hello Kitty stamp and the houndstooth pattern have to be some of the best stamps ever. I just love the combo of them together too, and when paired with pink and glitter FORGET ABOUT IT!

When stamping my thumb I screwed up and stamped it diagonal. But I just added a few gold studs and totally turned this fail into a WIN! I think it also gave it a whole nautical feel and I am thinking I should do this look on purpose to all my nails soon, but with a red white and blue theme :)

MRS. CLAUS GOES TO CONEY ISLAND

I loved yesterday's look with China Glaze Mrs. Claus so much that I just had to use it again today :)

I thought it would look cute over the light pink American Apparel Coney Island I swatched earlier. It didn't turn out how I thought it would (think red glitter over a pink base) - it was even better! With Mrs. Claus having that red tinted base, it totally transformed Coney Island. It turned my nails into a glittery salmon pink color! I really like this :) My pictures didn't totally capture the salmon pinkness of this but it came close.

AMERICAN APPAREL - CONEY ISLAND

Good afternoon ladies! Today I am showing you a polish I was given to review. This is from American Apparel. The color is a light and creamy baby pink. I really liked this color. I think it would make a really cute spring time pedi. I was pretty impressed with the opaqueness of this color, I only needed two coats. I thought this would require at least 3, so that was really nice.

This polish is available online HERE and costs $6 a bottle.

WHO WANTS PUPPY PICS??

How sweet is this baby Fat Meaty? Don't you just want to squeeze her fat little tummy?

LMAO at Nanner's pose!! Doesn't it look like one of those old Sears family portrait poses?

Nanner likes the babies warm bed and has taken it over!

Super enhance on his little facial expression I caught on camera! I love this silly boy!

Now for a bit of sad news :( This little boy is no longer with us, he went to live in his new house. Luckily he just went to live with my BF's sister so I will still be able to see him on a regular basis. Plus she lives on a few miles away, so he is close. They named him Boss Dog :) It was still really hard being without him and Fat Meaty cried that first night, it was really sad. The picture above makes me think of an egg with that yellow blanket and him all white and snuggled in the middle.

I know several of you had wanted to know if I was planning on keeping the puppies and I wasn't ignoring the question, I just didn't know yet what we were going to do. We are keeping Fat Meaty.

And lastly here is a picture of Little going hard! I love my kiddly wink, he is the best! :)

MRS. PHAT SANTA CLAUS

Yes, these are Christmas colors that I am just now getting around to using months after Christmas . . . side eye here!!!

First, I don't have my big surprise for my nail polish room ready to share just yet, it might take another week yet before it is done where I can show you all.

Today's NOTD is two base coats of ChG - Phat Santa. Man, this was hard to apply! Did anyone else have trouble with this one? It was really hard to control while applying to my nails and the brush seemed thinner than a normal ChG brush. It made me wonder if they skimp on their quality for specialty collections like this one. . . hmmmm?! It was also one of those colors that always looks like it need to be shined up.

I topped it off with Mrs. Claus - glitter helps anything. This one seemed to apply good, very easy to control and I liked that the glitter was sparse enough to use as a glitter top coat.

JUST CHECKING IN :)

Hey girls! Wow - it's been crrrrrazy! We had a ton of snow hits us a couple of weeks in a row. I wasn't able to even get out and get to work for several days and then to top it all off I got the flu in the middle of all that! I'm telling you all it was the sickest I have been in a loooong time. I've spent the last week getting caught up at work.

I have a super exciting thing I'm working on for my nail polish room that I can't wait to show you all. Hopefully it will be finished this weekend ( keeping fingers crossed!). I also have a cool contest coming up to name my nail polish room and the prize is nothing short of AMAZING! I will give you a hint - the city that never sleeps . . . . :)

Hope you guys have a great weekend and I should be back to my regular posting this Monday :)

Just for fun, a song that I have been jamming to:
