EEEWWW! I PAINTED MY NAILS WITH DOLL SKIN!!

Some things don't ever, ever EVER need to be matted - Essie Van D'Go is one of them. All I can think of is little naked, soft rubber dolls!! I'm totally getting a silence of lambs vibe, like I've made my own little skin nails! Seriously!!

(Full review & regular swatches of Essie - Van D'Go will be posted later.)

MOM'S MANI

This is a mani I did on my Mom Sunday night. I FINALLY got my Mom to tune into one of the crazy dating shows that VH1 does, so we did nails while watching Frank the Entertainer in a Basement Affair. LOL! It isn't one of VH1's best since the girls are living in his Mom's house they haven't been getting as wild and ridiculous as they normally do. But I guess it's a good one to break her into with. I think this needs to be a regular Sunday thing now; Frank the Entertainer and a mani!

For her nails we used Nubar - Prize from their recent Prism collection. Since this color is so strong we didn't really think a konad stamp would hold it's own without being a really bold one, so she opted for a few stickers. They are pretty close to the color of polish, but they do stand out a little bit.

NOTD - STRAIGHT MONEY IN THE BANK

OMG, I love this mani! I love wearing stuff like this and making this whole nail thing that I do fun. I have been wearing this since Saturday and I love it!! I got the nail decals (which are water decals) from a seller on Ebay. I also got some little guns too that I'm sure I will be using really soon. I really like how detailed the money fans are! (You can tell they are hunnids!!)

FINGER PAINTS - SWATCHES

(Click to enlarge to read polish names)

I swatched all the new Finger Paints shown above, with the exception of the last one, Icy Iris since I just swatched that one last week.

SUMMER 09 COLLECTION
YELLOW BIKINI
This was a really nice yellow. It was pretty opaque and I didn't have any streaking issues that yellow polish is know for. It also has awesome shimmer that makes this polish look like it is just glowing.

FALL 09 COLLECTION
HONEY HANDBAG
This color was just meh on me. Some browns have a tendency to bring out the red in me and this one did that.

BERRY BELT
I can't get enough of this color. I know I have probably have at least 5 other colors similar to this, but I am so pleased every time I put one of these type colors on. Plus they look great on me!

PLUM PUMPS
Loving this!! This is sort of a dusty looking mauve. I think it is a great fall color. I picked this polish up several times at Sally's but never got it. It's hard for me to shell out almost $5 for a single bottle of polish, so I was really pleased to see that this was still left with the clearance polishes.

SALLY'S HAUL

I know I touched on this a little bit last week, but now is the time to get to Sallys and stock up on all their seasonal nail polishes. All the price tags still read $3.99, but they are not, they are all $1.99 EACH!!! Below, I got all this nail polish for $30.00! I used my 15% off coupon as well as getting a free China Glaze with the purchase of Seche fast drying top coat. Seriously ladies, hurry!!

Yes, that box contains TWO polishes for only $1.99! The other one the name tag is gone, anyone know what the name of this one is??

Finger Paints from their Summer, Fall and Holiday collections, all for $1.99 each.

The Matte Magic's are on sale for only 99 cents each.
The two china glazes were not on sale, but I got one for free with a coupon.

I already have these, but at 1.99 each I wanted to stock up. I can use these as back ups or as gifts for future giveaways and contests.

WHAT I USE: LAZY SUSAN

Wow, I have tons of stuff I want to post about today! I have a huge Sally's haul, tons of swatches and even a NOTD pic for you all. So let's get started.

I did some organizing of my nail polish situation over the weekend and there is an item I use that I thought I would share with you all. It's a lazy susan. My mom gave me this and it has just been so handy. I like to keep things I use for all mani's on here. I keep top coat bottles (matte and shiny) also base coats, nail polish thinner, nail treatments, cuticle oils, nail polish removers (acetone and non acetone), orange wood sticks - basically all the basics. Plus, it turns so it makes it really easy to find what I need without digging around for it. When I am done, I just pick up the whole thing and place it out of the way. Super handy!

That's me! See, I'm trying to demonstrate how I turn it! lol

I also keep a container of cotton. I buy the really big, salon size box of cotton. It is cheaper and it last so much longer than buying bags of cotton balls. Also, I can pick the amount I need. It comes reinforced so I pull it out of the box and pull the little paper string out and have it ready to use. I buy my salon sized boxes of cotton at Sally's.
