RED AND FLASHY

I am sooooo pleased with how these turned out. This was my first time working with the stripe tape and it wasn't hard, but would have been alot easier with a helping hand I think. It was a little difficult to try to size, stick, cut - it was a bit much for one hand to handle. But I think they turned out ok. The tape isn't exactly as I want it on some nails, but I can live with it.

I am hoping that this will last through the weekend. I have had a little pealing up on some nails, but I have just tried to go back and reinforce with more top coat. I can't deny how shiny the silver line is though, so eye catching :)

I used Finger Paints - Curator's Coral for the base, and PA - Q9 for the glitter accents on the sides. The silver stripe tape I got online from Transdesign.

PA NAIL POLISH - SWAMP THING

Let me introduce you to Swamp Thing - or it's official name of Q21. I think Swamp Thing is a much better name for this beauty. This is a swampy, mossy, murky green with tons of multi glitter in it. I can't even begin to figure out what all is in this thing, I just know I love it! I think I have used around 3 or 4 Pa nail polishes and I haven't been disappointed with them yet! I really like what I have seen from this brand so far. Of course, this is a hard to find brand - so good luck getting your hands on your own Swamp Thing!!

STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE V-DAY MANI

You guys remember Strawberry Shortcake the doll/cartoon, right? Well that's what this Valentine's Day mani was inspired by. The base color was already reminding me of strawberry milk, and now with the addition of the red dots it really took on little Miss Strawberry Shortcake.

For the base I used PA - Q24 nail polish. Then I added some heart stickers that Jen from Never Too Much Glitter sent to me. These stickers already had the rhinestones stuck on them, but you could easily just use plain heart stickers and add your own stones. Then I used my red glitter nail art pen and added the red dots. I also used the nail art pen to fill in a couple of the heart stickers for more pop in color. For something so simple, I just love this! As you can tell, I really liked it since there are about 100 pictures of it below.

Pictures below were taken outside in shade, this really shows off the silver glitter in the PA polish:

I hope my Valentine's Day inspirations keep coming, I'm having so much fun doing these mani's !!

SWATCH: PA - Q24

I got this polish as a gift from Jen of Never Too Much Glitter. I love this color. This is a perfect, girly strawberry milk colored polish that is dotted with subtle silver glitter. I really love this color. I thought it might be a little too light for my liking, however as soon as I used it I was loving it. I have another Valentine's Day mani coming up with this color used as the base.

For those interested in PA nail polish, it isn't easy to obtain here in the US. I have found one website that sells it, but I have never ordered from them, so I can't confirm what ordering*** from them is like. The website is ORANGE LIGHTHOUSE. Has anyone ordered from them before??

***EDIT - Please read the comments section for a personal account on ordering from Orange Lighthouse!!
