SAVVY - GOLDEN MAUVE

Savvy is a pretty underrated brand I think. I love their bottles, they have a nice formula and are pretty easy to get if you have a Sally's near by - which I think most do here in the US. Their only downfall I think is their limited range of colors.

I was given this polish from someone who gave it to my mom to give to me. It was a gloppy mess and totally unusable when I got it. However, all I needed to do was add some np thinner and shake. This was like new and is actually a really pretty color.

RANDOM SWATCHES

Below are some random swatches I just threw together. I did these all during last weekend when I went on my swatching binge. ENJOY!!

ZOYA - SUVI
First up is the only Zoya I got from the clearance bins. Alot of you made mention that you have never seen Zoya for sale other than online. My little local beauty supply does sell Zoyas for $5.49 in the store and it is the only place other than online I have ever seen them for sale too. I got this one below for $2.99

ORLY - ORANGE PUNCH
Dinky will be modeling this on her toes later today in a post. She got her a halloween mani last night :)

FINGER PAINTS - STRAWBERRY SHAKE

SAVVY - COTTON CANDY

NINA ULTRA PRO - PURPLE-XING
Wowser!! GO GET THIS NOW!!! AMAZING!

MODELS OWN - MIXED UP
This had to be done over a dark base color. I couldn't find my black so I used a dark blue.

DEJA BLUE BABY!

Today I have for my NOTD, a new Savvy polish I picked up at Sally's over the weekend. I originally just went into Sally's to get a new bottle of Sech top coat, but when I saw the stickers that said Sally's Choice - Hot Shade - I had to go in for a closer look. I only have a few Savvy's, but this line of nail polish really isn't to bad. They have some good colors, the selection just isn't very wide though. These have always applied pretty good for me, but like I said, my Savvy collection is nothing to brag about. I don't know if this is a New color, or just one that got a coveted "sally's Choice" sticker, but I don't recall ever seeing it. If it IS an older color, than I would think adding little stickers is a great selling point - take note nail polish companies---- :)

I really like dark blue, I think it really goes great with my skin tone. Plus it is a lot more interesting than just a black

Thanks for the pretty ring NIXXY!!!

BACK IN ACTION

Just a quick little update to let you all know what has been going on and what is coming up.

Sorry for the lack of posts last week, I just kind of had an impromptu vaca from posting. I had Monday off and the rest of the week I was a little busy doing some work that I had been neglecting. The free time that I DID get I just wasn't feeling like spending that time posting. I really wasn't even doing my nails, I guess I just had a little lazy period there.

Anyway - I'm back now! I have several swatches that I want to do for you all. I have some new shades from Orly & Savvy, plus a few more Diamond Cosmetics nail polishes and a nail treatment for review. I also finally picked up my nail art storage pkg from the post office that I ordered from Ebay, so I will share my thoughts on that with you all too. I even have a few Fourth of July pictures I want to show you all as well.
