TOTD - HOT PINK w/ SPARKLES

I haven't done one of these in a while, eh! I actually painted these a week ago, and I am just now getting around to taking pictures. I know, I know!! So it looks a little rough, but only if you get all up in my toes grill!

These look so pretty out in the sunshine! I used a Color Club for the hot pink and then topped them off with China Glaze - Fairy Dust. I think Fairy Dust is a MUST on toes during the summer time, it makes everything look better!

Also, before I took these pics, I lotioned up the feet so there would be no crusties for you all to look at and I have been slipping and sliding all across my flip flops today. I look like a pregnant lady walking or something! lol

I DID NOT BREAK MY NO-BUY!

Before the No-Buy police show up, I didn't buy these new nail polishes from the Electro Candy collection by Color Club that I have been wanting. They just kind of fell from the sky! lol Really, I got these for a shipping trade I did with my Pixie friend ;) If you don't have a pixie friend - you are really missing out - lol :)

Anyway, I picked three of the colors I was most excited about, with the orange one being top on my list. I was so excited I took off my Raspberry Festival and painted my nails right here at my desk! While these colors weren't as bright as I thought they would be, they all have a neon quality to them. I think the brightness is toned down due to the strong gold/whitish shimmer that is throughout all of these colors, or at least the three that I have anyway.

Tangerine Scream is what I used on my nails. With the cool gold like shimmer, this color at certain angles and lights looks peach to me and at other times, it is a distinct neon orange. Very cool color indeed! This did require 3 coats to remove all traces of a VNL. Like all of my Color Club polishes, I had no application issues.

Of course, I had to use my other colors too, so I painted them on my toes! I get no extra points for flawless application :)

Pixie, I will get your two orders headed your way tomorrow :)

TOTD - BABY BLUE AND GOLD

Colette of My Simple Pleasures must have really been an inspiration to me this week, because this is the third time I have mentioned her today :) Earlier this week Colette did a koni and she used Misa - Ghetto Fabulous as the color she stamped with. So last night after painting my toe nails with Time Square NY - Aqua Pastel, I thought Ghetto Fab might work as a good stamping color. I am really digging this color combo! I only wish that the gold was a little more in your face, but usually that's how I like my nail colors. I might try this combo on my nails soon. I forgot to get the plate number, but this is the full nail pattern in the zebra print.

What do you think of this color combo? Love it or hate it?

TOTD (YESTERDAY)

This was what I had on my toes yesterday. I was so busy working on the Konad Tutorial that I didn't have time to post about anything else. I have another TOTD that I will post up later that I am wearing today, that involves a little Konad too :P

Sally Hansen - Flash is a color I saw on Colette of My Simple Pleasures blog. I loved this color on her, and a few weeks ago when Walgreen's was having that big Sally Hansen sale, I got this. I really love this shade of blue. I don't think it worked really great with my skin tone for some reason, but I don't care :) I like this color and I will be wearing it again soon, I'm sure.
