SH INSTA-DRI'S FOR KONADING

Hello lovely readers! I know, I know - the last few days I have done over kill on the new SH Insta-Dri neons I came across. But I have one last post about them.

Yesterday after trying out the last of the five colors I got, I noticed how opaque ALL of the polishes were. Since they were so opaque I thought they might make great polishes to use for the Konad. What can I say - I WAS RIGHT! lol :) These worked SO WELL for the konad, I am super impressed.

These were stamped over a nude colored, glitter filled NYX.

These were stamped over SH - Black Pearl Chrome.

Do you ladies believe me now? Run go get these!

CONGRATS TO MY SON!

Awwwwww! How sweet does he look??? My son will be graduating (or quit-uating as my mom says) from Kindergarten next month!


On the day of the pictures, I sent him in his dress shirt and tie nice slacks and dress shoes. I told him I would put a change of clothes in his bag so he didn't have to wear that all day. However my son decided to be "ricco suave" and wear his fancy duds all day. I got a lady killer on my hands :)

SH INSTA-DRI NEON SWATCHES

Usually I don't do swatches, I think it takes the fun out of wearing the np. However, I decided to do some swatches of these new SH Insta-Dri neons since I was so impressed by the blue one I used last night. Here are the other four colors I got:

I think the orange & green ones together remind me of 70's decor! lol All of these applied really well and most didn't require a second coat, but I did a second one anyway. I'm thinking these might be great for konading, I'm going to test these out tonight and see how they do. I hope they work, I would love to get some bright colors to konad with.

NEON BLUE HELLO KITTY

For my NOTD I used one of my new Sally Hansen Insta-Dri np. I picked the blue one - Brisk Blue. Something about this blue was just calling to me. I am loving Brisk Blue. I'm telling you all now to run out and get this color---now!


I know you have all seen the strange brushes on the SH Insta-Dri's and I admit, I wasn't a fan of them - until I used them. These brushes are the best. It's like they were made for my nails, they fit perfectly. Also the consistency of these polishes are pretty darn good too. I was able to paint four of my nails without having to re-dip the brush, and the brush wasn't just loaded down with polish and the first nail I painted wasn't just a thick mess either! I don't know how they do that, but it is awesome. I will also add that this color was opaque in one coat, but I as usual did two. I then used SH Black Pearl Chrome for the stamping. These polishes are another one that is good for konading with. I decided to use my HK stamp from Fauxnad plate # A02.


After I got done I was kicking myself for not painting each nail with a different new SH Insta-Dri neon that I got and stamping with the HK plate. I think that would have been really cute and I might still do it :)




Please note that my application was not very good with the stamp. I kind of got in a hurry and wasn't cleaning the plate like I should, so it's a tad on the messy side, sorry :)
