LOOK INTO MY EYES

Well these are my Halloween themed nails I did last night and I love them. I know I have sort of done these before (not exact) but I haven't done them in these colors and not a full color mani. Anyway I used one yes ONE coat of my TiNS - The Saturn for the base. Then I painted on red french tips using Super Star - Walk the Red Carpet (kudos for NOT naming this some version of Ruby Pumps). I really like the dark look of the red glitter tips, it adds a little something without being bright red, which I like. Then just to add some more bling I painted one coat of PA - Q9 over the whole nail. I stamped the skulls on and placed red dots for the eyes. I love the chunkiness that the PA added to this look. I am probably going to be wearing this for at least two days, maybe more.

ELECTRIC CORAL COMPARISONS

Yesterday I told you all that I thought I might have a dupe for Billie - Electric Coral. The one I had in mind was Superstar - Orangu an A-Lister. When I pulled down my "orange" shoebox though, I found another one that was sort of close, so I decided to compare it too. The third one is Finger Paints - Coral Compliment.

You can really see just how close Orangu An A-Lister and Electric Coral are. I can't really see that much difference between the two, as far as bottle pics. I could tell that Coral Compliment was going to be darker though.

INDEX- SuperStar Orangu An A-Lister
MIDDLE - Billie Electric Coral
RING - Finger Paints Coral Compliment

I would classify the SuperStar and Billie to be dupes. What do you guys think?

PARTY ON MY NAILS

Since I didn't have alot of time this weekend, I just updated last Thursday's NOTD with a fun top coat. I think it looks like a party is going on on my nails :) I even did my toes to match! I really like this, but after three days I am ready for a change!

(Yes, I need to do a little work on my nails, but I thought these looked to cute not to take pics of before I remove it)

NOTD

This is my NOTD, which is also the same color that Dinky is rocking on her tips too. This is Orangu An A-Lister by Superstar Nail Lacquer. This color changes tones in different lighting, but it ALWAYS stays bright! Which is of course one of the things that I just love about it. It looks orange in some lights and pink in others, but it always has a slight blue/purple flash to it. It is a very cool color for sure. I have had problems with Superstar Nail Lacquer chipping really bad in the past, however, on my fake nails it has been chip free! This stuff has been great, so I hope when I get home Dinky still has some left on her tips and it hasn't chipped all off!

Using the Flash really made the orange tones come out. Since it looked more like the pink color in the office, I did most of the pictures showing the pink color of this polish.

I'm keeping my eye on you!

LIKE MOTHER LIKE DINKY

Me and Dinky have matching nails today, how cute is that? lol I wanted to do something bright and girly for the girl last night, so I decided on a great summer color from Superstar Nail lacquer called Orangu An A-Lister. And as usual, Dinky didn't disappoint in the posing department, just take a look:

Give me sleepy:
Give me wistfully starring off into space:
Give me Whatchu Talkin Bout Willis:

See!! A total Model Dog! Watch out Tyra, here comes America's Next Top Dogel :)
Anyway, with all that posing I am sure you didn't even notice her nails, so here are some pics focused only on her nails.

See, we match :)

This polish is actually more pink in real life. I hope to be able to catch some better pics that show the actual color better today. Hope this gets everyone's Thursday off to a good start!

NOTLCOD

I bet you all are wondering what the heck is "NOTLCOD" - - - lol! Well it stands for Nail Of The Last Couple Of Days :)

Stupid I know, but NOTD wasn't quite right since I have been wearing this for the last couple of days. I didn't post this yesterday because this is a color that I have worn before and I didn't do anything special to it with any nail art or anything.

I decided to post it today since I haven't posted any pics of my fake nails since I put them on last Saturday night. So what the heck!! (Yes I do put on my own fake nails.)

I know some of you all are not fans of fake nails - but I see it as do what works for you and what makes YOU happy. Sometimes fake nails make me happy so I wear them from time to time. I get tired of them and take them off and go with my real ones. I just do whatever makes ME happy :)

KONI OF THE DAY

Well, I have my daily koni for you all!! LOL, it seems as though I can't just paint my nails anymore, I have got to stamp them with something :)

HERE IS WHAT I USED:

The first thing I did was paint two coats of China Glaze - Flying Dragon over my nails. Then I used Super Star - Rising Star Razzberry and "drew" a diagonal line and painted the lower half of my nail. It took about three coats. I then topped it off with a coat of Seche. I wanted these to be really dry before I started stamping since so many coats of NP were used. I liked this design on it's own and almost (I said *almost*) didn't stamp them.

After allowing about 15 minutes or so dry time, I was ready to start stamping. I used Konad SP in black and KP # M57.

I had some tip shrinkage, but after all the coats of NP I applied, I pretty much expected it. I'm really pleased with how these turned out. I really like the purple and pink together too.
