MRS. PHAT SANTA CLAUS

Yes, these are Christmas colors that I am just now getting around to using months after Christmas . . . side eye here!!!

First, I don't have my big surprise for my nail polish room ready to share just yet, it might take another week yet before it is done where I can show you all.

Today's NOTD is two base coats of ChG - Phat Santa. Man, this was hard to apply! Did anyone else have trouble with this one? It was really hard to control while applying to my nails and the brush seemed thinner than a normal ChG brush. It made me wonder if they skimp on their quality for specialty collections like this one. . . hmmmm?! It was also one of those colors that always looks like it need to be shined up.

I topped it off with Mrs. Claus - glitter helps anything. This one seemed to apply good, very easy to control and I liked that the glitter was sparse enough to use as a glitter top coat.

    Nice! I am definitely not a fan of Mrs. Clause but it looks awesome as a top coat over Phat Santa. Thanks! now I know what color shade I can layer Mrs. Clause over!

    That's pretty much how I've used Mrs Claus-- over reds-- its also kinda neat over black.

    Interesting! I had no trouble at all with Phat Santa. In fact, I thought it had very smooth application and was super shiny and jelly-like. Weird!

    No problems with Phat Santa here. Maybe you got a duff bottle that had a some hairs missing from the brush?

    The only problem I had with Phat Santa was that it stained my nails pretty badly even with a basecoat. Other than that it looked shiny!

    I like the combo you put together, it reminds me of cinnamon candies :D

    Phat Santa is my favorite Red ever!! Its just amazing. I love this combo. Mrs Claus Also looks nice over Naughty and Nice. I loved this collection!

    I didn't have any trouble with Phat Santa, at all. In fact, it went to the top of my all time favourite reds list with a bullet. :D

    I have Mrs. Clause... I think... I just haven't worn it, yet.
