TONE ON TONE ARGYLE

I did a quick little koni last night. I wanted to see what green on green would look like with the argyle pattern. I used Billie - Green for the base and konad sp in green for the stamp. I really liked how it turned out, but I think a lighter green color for the base would have worked better. This looked great in the flash pictures, but it wasn't nearly as noticeable in real life. I'm wondering if maybe Sinful - Irish Green would work as a better base color....


(btw, with two little yellow rhinestones stuck on each nail, I think I could have pulled off making them look like snakes!)






This one is a little blurry, but it was the only one I took with both bottles!

    This is really cool, but it would be helpful if you did a "how to", and even better if you linked to where we can buy the stamps. Lovely nails, though. I like this.

    PENNY LANE - I'm sorry! I just assume that everyone knows about konad! lol

    Is it bad that these nails remind me of a sweater that I owned when I was 5? I think that this is really cute!

    I like it a lot! Subtle but it makes you stare! I dont have this plate but I always want to do an argyle pattern, wonder how long it would take to do by hand?
