Today I have a guest who would like to share her water marble mani attempt.
Jenelle H. contacted me through email about my hunt for doing a marble mani. Janelle talks about what she used and even a tip to help in attaining a great marble mani.
"
I used NYC polishes in polyester pink, fuchsia shock and white. They worked great! But I did have some trouble at first when I used tap water, I live in the country and we have less-than-perfect water from a well and the nail polish ended up just in a ball at the bottom of the cup. So I used our bottled drinking water and it worked sooo perfectly! "
Absolutely fabulous!! Great job Janelle! I will try the bottled water trick and see if it helps me at all!
They look fab! I really need to try a marble mani soon
ReplyDeleteThis turned out amazing! I had a problem with the polish bubbling the first time around but i think i may now know how to change that.

ReplyDeleteOh-la-la... the nails turned out GORGEOUS! I love the different patterns that were created. Our water is hard here too. When I do marbling I have to make sure to use lukewarm water.
