Ok, honestly, how freakin' hot is this color?? It is a sort of jellish black base with blue/turquoise glitter running all through it! Only downside, even after three top coats, it is a little lumpy, grrrr! Other than that, I couldn't be more pleased.
So this is where you come in: Give me some suggestions for some names for this in the comment section. Tomorrow I will do a poll and list some of my favorites of your guesses.
****
The BF's Guess: Galactica
My guess: Beat Down or Bruised (since it is black and blue, lol)
Your guess: ??? Let me know in the comments section :)
I love that color! My guess would be Night Vision.
ReplyDeleteHmmm....what about Time Travlers or Doctor Who? It's sooo pretty. It reminds me of outer space. Hence the funky space names...lol!
ReplyDeleteI am thinking "Planetarium". One of my favorite museum visits. How did you make it? Did you mix a glitter polish with a dark creme?
ReplyDeleteThis is just a random whatever the first thing popped in my head lol..
ReplyDeleteObsidian Tonic
I would name it Meteor Shower...as we have seen those in the UK for the last couple of nights!
ReplyDeletei like galactica!
ReplyDeleteor to contribute my own: space gaze
I like stary night. Looking at your nails reminds me of looking at the sky late at night
ReplyDeleteI'd name it Starry Starry Galaxy... because it's like Essie's Starry Starry night, but deeper, more mysterious, and more... spacey! :)
ReplyDeleteI would name it "Star-Struck at Midnight"! It really reminds me of the meteor shower that I watched last night!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking "Space-ship Visions". Try saying that fast a couple of times. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking "Space-ship Visions". Try saying that fast a couple of times. :D
ReplyDeleteRockstar Disco! LOL
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
You know what that color reminds me of? Telescope pictures of deep space nebulas. It reminds me of the blackness and stars around the nebula before you get to the brilliant colors in the nebula. Thus, I'd call it Nebula's Edge.
ReplyDeleteI immediately think of the sky at night.. So Night Sky ;)
ReplyDeleteI love this! I like the BF's Idea but if not that then I would call it 'The Great Unknown' He he. I'm so korny!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH! Brooke that franken is absolutely beautiful! I don't have a clever name you can use I just wanted to comment on the colour and say a quick HI :D
ReplyDeleteBut out of all your other suggestions I like the "Starry Night". Although it's similar to Essie's one it still sounds peaceful xx
Clubbed to Blue =)
ReplyDeleteOMG LUV this color! I thought of the name "Night Sky". I'd love it if you'd show us what went into it!
ReplyDeleteDead fallen star! Don't ask why, it just came to me ^_^

ReplyDeleteReminds me of Iron Maiden's "2 Minutes To Midnight"! One of my favourite songs ever, and this color is exactly what I would wear for a heavy metal concert (except for Korpiklaani, that would be dark green :P )
ReplyDeleteWOW. Seriously, Brooke, you should do frankens all the time. LOL! Weren't you just talking about Angel & Devil collection? This one could be called Sympathy For The Devil ... okay, or Paint It Black, since I'm on the Rolling Stones kick. That kicks ass, if you'll pardon my french. I love it to bits. I'd also like to beg to know your recipe along with the rest of the ladies!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Galactica is pretty cool name too.
Did you read Frank Schaetzings "The Swarm"? Do it, or check out the summary on wikipedia or so, then you will get the perfect name for this franken: YRR.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, does't it look like some bioluminescent deep sea organism? Plankton maybe, or tiny jellyfish? Google Aequorea to see what I mean...
it's a gorgeous franken! love this!

"to eternity and beyond"
"diamonds on orions belt"
"nightswimming"
