IM DOWN AND OUT

Just a really quick post. I have been dealing with some really bad back pain for a full week now. It has gotten so bad that I can't even walk or even sit up. I haven't even been to work all week. Hope doctors are able to fix me up, but until then blogging just can't be done.

I hope to check back in with you all soon. If you have sent me emails or tweets I haven't checked them and probably won't for a few more days yet. Hang in there with me girls - I'm in some pretty bad pain right now.

  4. I had bad back pains during winter too, and I remember how it felt when even thinking of moving made me wanna cry. Hope you feel better soon. Back pains are the worst

  22. I'm so sorry Brooke. I really do feel your pain. After you get x-rays and scans and it's muscular, go to a chiropractor. It's not really good to lay flat on your back for a week. Put ice on that's for sure. Be careful please.

  23. I hope you get better soon! Back pain is no fun, I have been living with chronic back pain for the last 12 years- it sucks butt... Hopefully you will be back on your feet soon!! Hugs!!

  29. you should look into upper cervical chiropractors, i was having the same problems you are and i think that and changing my mattress is what finally made it go away http://www.upper-cervical.com/ it really changed my life!

  32. Get well soon. I am dealing with a bulging disc injury week four so I understand your pain and can really sympathize. Even though it hurts, keep moving slowly and carefully if you can, so you can stay strong. Healing wishes are sent to you from me.

  34. I'm so sorry you're back is hurting, Brooke. I have a lot of back pain from a car accident in 2005, but it helps a lot to go to the chiro (when I can afford it) and to do stretches (reach up and touch the top of a doorframe, touch toes, stuff that gets the back and legs stretched) and sit ups have helped me soo much. I also stretch out my back by rolling all around on an exercise ball. I have so much back pain, but those things have really helped. Also, we invested in a Tempurpedic bed, which has been tremendously helpful (although we are still paying it off... ugh). I hope you're feeling better soon!!
