VALENTINE'S DAY INSPIRED NAILS

I'm already jumping on the Valentine's Day wagon! I still feel that these nails need a little something extra to really make them pop, but not quite sure just what I need just yet. For the base I used Diamond Cosmetics - Angelic for the base. This is my favorite base coat to use for french mani's. I do wish I would have done a third coat of it though to help cover the stains on my nails, but from a regular distance it isn't that noticeable. For the tips I used OPI - Don't Think, Just Pink. And to outline the tips I used a red glitter nail art stripper.

Also, you might notice some bonus pics of my right hand! I ended up not being able to save my nail on my left hand and so I thought I would give it a try on taking pics of my right hand since all the nails are nice and long on that hand. It was a little harder than I thought, so unfortunately there are still some pics containing my shorty middle nail on my left hand. So enjoy :) lol

  4. Preeetty <3 The red glitter is great! A tiny red heart-shaped rhinestone on each nail would be so cute on this mani ^__^

  6. I think it needs some Konad hearts <3 =) & maybe a glittery topcoat like ChG Fairy Dust but maybe that's just me wanting extra bling LOL.

I don't think your left looks too bad, but just keep practicing taking pics of your right, I remember how tough it started out for me when I went that route, but it gets easier!

Maybe I'll try some nail art this V-day too, so I can at least enjoy my nails due to a lack of tasty men :-P

  14. To remove the yellow stains on your nails rub some lemon on your nails. It works try it at least 4-5 times a day for 3-5 minutes. the lemon juice gets rid of the yellow stains on nails

  16. Nice mani, I love the glittery smile line. You must already know about them but denture tablets worked wonders on my nails to get rid of a terrible case of staining.

  21. I didn't know they made a red Stripe Rite! Don't think, Just Pink is one of my favorite pinks - it looks great as a french mani :)

  22. I like Just Pink. I don't care for the red stripe next to the pink. I'd like to see a silver stipe. Pretty other than the red.
