Lately I have been getting overrun with idiots, YES IDIOTS thinking that my comments section is the perfect place for them to hawk their movies, medications (and I think you know which one I'm talking about!!) and snake oils. I have had enough!
Just in the last two days I have had to disable comments on 3 posts to stop these idiots from leaving their mumbo jumbo on there.
I have always wanted leaving comments here to be easy and quick. That is why I don't have that stupid word verification or comment moderation and allow anon comments. Unfortunately if this continues I will have to make some changes.
I don't want it to deter anyone from leaving comments here though. I enjoy each and every comment that you all leave me. I don't have the time to respond to each and everyone like I did when I first started, but I do read each one almost as soon as you leave it here.
So if you see changes regarding the comments on here, please know why I had to do this.
And if you run into any of these idiot spammers on the street - kick em right between their legs!! Tell 'em that's for pissing off that baby puppy!
That puppy is sooo cute! Spammers seem to be out in force at the moment. I've only had it a couple of times on my blog but I've seen several elsewhere!So annoying.

ReplyDeleteWill do! And then flood their mail boxes, e-mails and blogs and so on with a gazillion spam msgs too! I seem to win the lottery on some hidden corner of the world at least 5 times a day...or have some deceased relative i dont know...and so on...
Those ppl are evil! They crawl everywhere like roaches and are as fowl!

What a cute little puppy. He's too cute to be pissed off. But he fools you. Why do spammers make it difficult for everyone. I also get so many lottery winning letters. I will gladly give them a kick.

ReplyDeleteI had a rash of Chinese-language spam in every single one of my comments for a week about a fortnight ago. Soooo annoying! I don't know what they were trying to achieve, seeing as how according to my records I haven't even had one hit from China and it's an english-language blog. Morons.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was just me! I've been getting a lot of spam comments and I did put up the CATCHPA (is that how you spell it). I didnt want to, I just felt I had to.

ReplyDeleteI actually had to change my settings b/c of DUMMIES leaving idiotic commments like..."oh wow, all you did was copy some pics & post some links, this was not helpful @ all, i was looking 4 a review". DONKEY! LOL if it was a review, it would have stated that in the post. some people are whining fools. I consider those whack bhind comments spam as well.
