I CAN'T NOT SAY YES TO THESE!!

**edit!! LMAO!! Ok, I just changed the title of the post from "no" to the word "yes" - I can't believe no one pointed that out to me! lol

If I see a bottle of Sally Hansen Salon nail polish on clearance, and I don't have the color - I MUST GET IT! Even if I don't like the color all that much, I still MUST GET IT! And I know it's just because I REALLLY like the bottle shape. I just love the squareness of them. And like pokeman - I gotta get them all!!!

I got these at an unbelievable discount! Not only were they $1.32 each - which is ridiculous in itself, but they came attached with a bottle of clear!! Yes, TWO SH Salon np's for only a buck thirty two! I found these on clearance at the local Target while doing back to school shopping for Little.

I tried the clear nail polish out and I just don't have the patience for anything that takes longer to dry than Seche, so IMO these sucked. The good thing - they would be perfect for frankening with and these bottles I can't wait to use to franken with either - so it's like I got a 3 for 1 - or something like that. :)

First up is Sheerly Beloved. Nothing really unique about this polish. I did like it though, and for a sheer that is saying something. I liked that it made my nails look clean. After three coats, this didn't let a hint of my nails "yellow, stained" look show through. It applied really nice and I am please with this purchase. I could see me using this color in the future.

Second up is Made You Blush. This should have been named Made You Cuss - lol. This was a pain in the batooski to apply. I mean a total pain! Usually these SH Salons have a great formula, but not this one. This is one that you have to almost "babysit" while applying it. You have to make sure you don't press the brush down or you will have bald spots galore. It took four coats to get it like this, and the last coat was a thick one. I had to apply it thick to not cause any bald spots. Looking at the pictures it is a pretty color but not worth all the hassle - even for only a buck thirty two!

  1. Sheerly Beloved would be super pretty for a funky French or a nude Konad look. I would have a hard time walking away from a Sally Hansen Salon sale at such prices! No judgement here!

  2. you get lots of understanding from me too :-) at this price - you just have to buy it! it's a good deal. I love both colors on you. it's a shame that "made you blush" didn't work for you so much - it's still a good deal :-)

  3. What a steal! These are very pretty, I would put sheerly beloved over creme colors to give them a little extra oomph!

  5. I got these at Target at the end of July and they werent 1.32 :-( I paid like 3.41. What is with the random prices? Anyway, I'm with you on the topcoat thing. I got one with the Made You Blush polish and I tried it . Since I've used Seche Vite I cant wait around on anything else!

  6. ADORE PINK - It looks like there might be another price sticker underneath, so maybe they just dropped the prices on them again! I would go scope out Target again and see if they dropped the prices at your location too!

  7. That was good luck finding them. I know what you mean about the topcoat. Once you use fast drying you can't go back to the other. They are 2 pretty pinks. Sheers drive me crazy. It is a nice shade. That second one is gorgeous. What a shame it was a pain to apply. I relly like that one.
