DEVILED TIPS

Today I have for you all one of the great gifts I got from Nixxy - Dito Karpati Nail Lacquer. The name of the color is - Devilish. I just love this color name! I had a great idea for a collection of nail polishes - have white/sheers/light colors for the Angel Collection, of course all with really cute names like Cherub, Angelic, Angel's Wing, etc. And then have your dark/vampy colors for your Devil Collection with names like Hell Hath No Fury Like A Woman Scorned, Devil's Demise, Devil in a Blue Dress, etc. I can even see the promotional poster now too, pretty girl looking very confused as to what color to paint her nails - with an angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other. Wouldn't that be really cool? I wish I had more time on my hands - I would totally franken my own collection like that! Who knows, maybe I still will and reveal it to you all one day :)

Anyway - I got off there for a minute, lol. I think Devilish is a great name for this color though. It just seems so fitting. It is dark with gold and red shimmer to it. Just a really pretty color I think. When I first put this on, I thought it only had gold shimmer to it. After taking a much closer look though, there is some definite red shimmer in this polish too. I think that helps with the dark look that this has.

The bottle is a little hard to handle when painting your own nails, but it could be handy if I was painting some one elses. All in all, it's a great color - so great that today was my third day with it on! Thanks NIX!

  8. Hi guys - if you're looking for these polishes, they're sold online in the UK here -

    http://www.beautyexpert.co.uk/shop-karpati/

and have a website here -
    http://www.karpati.com.au/nailcare/awareness

    - that you *might* be able to order from.

I got this from a pharmacy in Oz (reduced from $20 to $10), as Brooke said. I have to say I was very disappointed as they make a HUGE fuss of being a safe brand, but the polishes still have formaldehyde resin in them - as I found out when my fingers swelled up painfully! No ingredients list anywhere on the bottle or website to be found, funnily enough! Sigh.

  13. I love your idea for a nail polish line. You should get together with Jen and put it together! I love this polish. Looks beautiful on you. What a pretty glow it has. The bottle looks like a pita though. Are you supposed to wear it while you do your nails?

  14. I love the idea for the nail polish idea. Lol Heaven could be duo chrome flashing pink and silver. There could be one called Paradise that could be a light green with gold undertones. And then Purgatory could be gray with a hint of purple. That would so awesome. I love thinking of stuff like that. The nail polish looks gorgeous.
