LICKETY-SPLIT LIME JELLY

For my nails last night, I went for something BRIGHT! For the base coat I used LA Colors in teal (no name on the polish) and I stamped with Sally Hansen - Lickety-Split Lime. It doesn't get much brighter, does it? I was going to stamp skulls and cross bones but I decided on the animal print instead.

  4. Very impressive indeed! Your nails looks so nice, you really have done great job with them. And there is something about greens, I have never ever earlier liked them, not one bit, but now (after I made my first franken) I found myself at staring and drooling after green polishes. Very confusing :-O

  14. That looks fab! One question, that LA Colours polish, does the bottle have no markings other than a sticker on the top with a number? I found a place here that sells bottles like that in a bunch of awesome colours but there no markings and even the sales assistant didn't know what brand it was *_* It's been driving me crazy but the bottle looks just like that!

  15. Brooke, maybe it's the color but your nails are looking particularly long & great =) I've got to get some of those Insta-Dri polishes to koni with ... do the regular colors work as well? I have yet to spy the summer neons at any of my local haunts.

  19. I just lovethat colour combination, fits like a glove! I love the shape of your nails, too. That's how I want mine to look but my nails start to crook(?) when they get longer. =/

  20. KAE - Thank you! Yes they are real. I just started growing out my naturals - thank you.

KAE - lol - I thought it was you too!

    RAI - Thank you!

VELVET - Thank you. I got so many compliments on the length of my nails this post, I think it was the design really elongated my nails, but they are quite long now - finally!!!

AMABILE - Thank you very much. It took me a little work to get these babies growing, but it looks like there is no stopping them now!

LANIE - Your comment had me cracking up!! No I don't do everything with my feet, I do my feet about every couple of weeks, sometimes it is much longer. I really don't know how I haven't really broken any. I broke the tip off of the index finger, but not by much. I have had some close calls though....keeeping fingers crossed!!

GIO - Thanks! I showed them to my mom and she wasn't to fond of them, but when she saw the finnished product she thought it looked pretty good. At least not what she was expecting I should say! lol

HELEN - HAHA!! Not even close to your talons sister! GIve me a couple of break free months and then MAYBE :)

    MARY - Thanks :)

NINA - Get you one!! What are you waiting for girl?

    SAIMESE - Thank you :)

SWEET LITTLE ANGEL - Thank you, it does have a very summerish feel to it.

    NICOLE - Thanks.

NATALIE - No luck? The one I am wearing came in a pack of three other colors for $6 on cherry culture.

VIOLET - The LA Colors that I have here has not a single sticker on it. It came in a package with three other colors and just the collection was named, not the individual colors.

COLETTE - I have not tried the other colors. I think these work so well because they are pigmented like crazy! I got a couple more from the stores around me and they were selling out like crazy, but each store only got two of each color. You might have missed them :(

SPARKLING - Yes, the green on it's own is a bit much - even for me. I think it is the color of the green too that makes it alot for some one to handle. But they work so great for stamping.

    TULI - Thanks girlfriend :)

    CLOCKWORK - Thank you.

ALEXLYNDRA - Thanks. These are really easy to get, just file straight across the bottom. My nails want to try to curl up on the sides, but I noticed some polishes make that worse. I think with some good filing I could get the sides down to keep them from curling.

  21. Why did you ever have acrylics? Your own natural nails are fabulous! Are you still using the Braille products? I have to get some nail envy. I need some length to my nails. They just keep peeling near the ends. Drives me crazy. Your Konadicure is gorgeous. When I first saw the two bottles together I thought yuk.
Now that I saw the next picture I love the combination. You really do have a good eye for color.
